Having seen Burry Park, it's time to have a rest at this bar. At Applebee's, guests can order good fried prawns, salads and fried wontons. The food quality reminded me of why we stopped going here. The wife ate maybe half of her food, and mine was ok at best. The wait staff was ok for us. However, I did see others behind us who were totally ignored for a long enough time period that if it had been me waiting, I would have left. Won't be back. The least friendly Neighborhood I’ve been to in the country. They were out of items for the entrees. Not really sure what was going on in the photos. Wish I would have seen this before I ate. My family and I were here on a Wednesday evening. They were really busy so we understood that there would be a wait. After being seated our order was taken pretty quickly. We ordered spinach dip as an appetizer. This is where it all went down hill. It took forever for her bring it to us. Two tables who were seated after us got their appetizers before we did. When I asked the waitress about it she “went to check on it” and it wasn’t ready. When it did come out, there were four whole chips and chip crumbs on the plate. They brought our food out before the kids food. My bourbon chicken was warm not sizzling. My husband’s Alfredo was dry but he ate it. My daughter ordered a kid’s burger and strawberries. The burger looked as if it was reheated and smashed together. My son’s fries were cold…. I wish I would’ve taken a picture. Spoke with the manager and she took off my and my daughters meals (as she should’ve). The waitress had an attitude after that, because she probably assumed she wouldn’t be getting a tip. But she did. It wasn’t all her fault, some of it falls on the kitchen, and the manager. The fact that we waited almost an hour for food that looked as if it was thrown together is ridiculous. Went here the other night and will not be back! We waited an hour and a half for an appetizer. Waited that same hour and a half on drink refills. After talking with the manager we had our food out within 5 mins. Unfortunately after coming out we had to send my kids food back as it was cold. The entrees we ordered was just okay. Definitely not fresh and hot. While there three other families had complained about their service/food as well.
