This is quite literally my favorite cafe ever!! I’ve been coming here for almost two years now and have had a great experience every single time. I’m an online college student so I’m always looking for nice places to study and do work and this place is perfect. The drinks are the best I’ve ever had; I recommend the bear hug, honey mint, or lavender matcha whenever they come into season. I’m a sucker for their sweet ricotta toast, but I also love their pastries and avocado toast as well. This cafe is a must if you’re in the area!

Stopped by on my way through on a business trip. This would totally be a place I could work and chill out in, great atmosphere! I ordered the specialty log cabin latte and the breakfast burrito with bacon. This was probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had and the latte was delicious. I consider myself a coffee snob and this place did not disappoint. The staff were super helpful and friendly. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely be back!

I’ve now been here twice. The first visit I had the Earl Grey tea with blackberry sauce and oat milk. It is very subtle but delicious. I also shared a slice of their cranberry orange bread with my girlfriend. That was so good that when I went home, I decided I was going to try and duplicate it, which after two tries I still have not done.
Yesterday we visited again. This time I ordered their chai with oat milk. Their chai is a homemade concentrate. I was skeptical. It was absolutely delicious. A tiny bit too sweet but that had to be in the concentrate so there’s not much that can be done to alleviate that. It was still wonderful.
The atmosphere is nice. There’s a bar area around where they make the drinks which is cozy, and a few tables surrounding that. Then there’s a back room that has some seating. I personally think that the tables are too large back there and that with some smaller tables they could fit more guests. But overall it’s a wonderful little coffeehouse.
Just visited again today, February 9. Drinks were delicious. My girlfriend had a raspberry mocha said it was really good and we shared a slice of the avocado ricotta toast. That was wonderful.

Backyard Beans Coffee Co is such a beautiful coffee shop. Very open space with many places to sit. Around noon-time, many of the customers are working here on their laptops. Which says a lot when you have a packed place midday. It a mild day today and I sat outside in the alley next door to them.
The coffee is craft. I had a Cabin Latte and wow! The first sip of the warm foam sprinkled with smoked salt took me back to camping and the late-night campfires. The smokiness balanced well with maple syrup and ginger. Prices are reasonable compared to other cafes. I would recommend them.

Let me first start by saying that I’ve been visiting Backyard Beans Lansdale for almost 5 years now. I’ve seen many service members, managers and regulars come and go. Here’s what I absolutely adore about this cafe and things that I would love to see improved:
The Good:
1. The people. Hands-down, my favorite aspect of Backyard Beans Lansdale is the community I’ve come to know and love by becoming a regular myself. I moved to Lansdale for work back in 2019 and this place is the reason why I’ve been able to meet so many fabulous people, both employees of “The Bean” and its patrons. It’s a great meeting hub to get to know the neighbors in your ‘backyard’.
2. The coffee is GREAT. The roasting operations folks know what they are doing, hands down. I also really appreciate the biographies written about the growers that often accompany the release of new single origin products.
3. The service quality at this point in time is very good, especially since the current crew has settled in. It was a bit of a rocky start when the newest batch of baristas came in but I can say they’ve turned it around.
4. BEST CINNAMON ROLLS IN MONTCO. Try one sometime. Or not, so there’s more left for me. ;)
The Okay:
1. Please be mindful of the cleanliness of the front of house. People notice dust on flat surfaces, stickiness on “fresh” mugs, dirty trash cans, etc. The backbar needs more attention, too.
2. Consistency of product. I order the same drink almost every time and it never tastes the same. Is it how folks are being trained? Recipes and order of steps when making a drink? I don’t know.
3. Lack of customer-facing signage. It would be useful to have visible order and pickup signs to direct customers. When it’s busy, it everyone congregates up front and there’s confusion as to where a line should actually form.
The Ugly:
1. Wi-Fi. It’s never reliable. Ever. If you want to work from this space, bring a hotspot. I’d love to see the owners upgrade the public internet here but it doesn’t seem like this is the demographic of customers they want to cater to.

Essen ist lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen kommt schnell. Das Restaurant ist sauber und dadurch dass es drei Räume gibt ist es auch nicht so laut.
