I have always loved this spot but in the past week I've had two bad experiences here. First, I went in to grab a couple of mini cupcakes and waited a very long time for service. I don't kind waiting normally but when I was passed over for them to help someone who came in after me, I finally just left empty handed. I am not sure why this location does not serve the gluten friendly cupcakes anymore, but continues to serve the vegan without a problem. The gluten free/gluten friendly community already has few options to pick from and taking away this one was an insensitive move. Why do those who are vegan get to keep getting their cupcakes, but those who are gluten free cannot?

Jay made me and my kids first experience at bake house 46 an amazing one. Jay was personable and helpful. He went out of his way to double check the allergy ingredients for my son. He greeted us with a friendly smile and answered all of our questions. Their vanilla vegan cupcake was incredible my son inhaled it and their cinnamon roll donuts and apple cider slushy were so tasty. My daughter got their ice cream and enjoyed every bite 10 out of 10 would recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Would not go back. Waited an hour on a Monday morning, they never made my order. Finally went to complain and they gave me someone else’s food. Employees were horrid. Don’t waste your time, go somewhere else like McDonald’s. Service Take out Meal type Breakfast Service: 1

As a wedding planner, it's nice to have a bakery with multiple locations that I can recommend. I know Bakehouse 46 will take care of my clients from the moment they walk in to taste cupcakes to the moment they are delivered to the event. m so happy to have this donut shop/cafe right next to Kellogg park. A wonderful place to sit down and warm up on a cool day. They offer gluten-free donuts and cupcakes but I recommend calling the day before your visit to ensure they’ll have something thawed for you. The staff would benefit from additional customer-service training. This morning, I heard a cashier say something quite harsh to a child who ordered and paid on his own, while his parents waited outside. I feel like that interaction may have ruined his morning.
