Not pleased with my experience. Won't be back. The card I was given to get beer didn't work. The beer stopped pouring because of the card and when I tried to refill it was all head. So we have to pay for pouring beer that's all head? The person behind the desk even said she couldn't help and I had to wait for someone else to correct it. We get the check and it automatically added 20% tip to food. If I wouldn't have had my hands full with frothy beer, he would have given me my bratwurst to walk to my table myself...20% automatic tip???? The interior looks like something out of a cereal box. Plastic recycled. I didn't find it visually comfortable at all. The beer, when I finally did get a glass was very good. The bratwurst was very good. Just overall not impressed with everything else. Probably won't be back. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

First time at the Bear Cave. Love the pour your own taps. They have a wood fire pizza oven. We had a great pizza, very tasty. Decent size menu, plenty of options for a brew pub. Three levels of indoor seating. Would like to go again when it is patio weather. Beer selection was pretty good. Would like to be able to pay your tab online as well. But not an option, on their app yet. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
We went with our dog as we had passes for dog friendly breweries and we had never been there. The pour it yourself beer wall is interesting, but not super handy if you have a dog and are sitting in the dog friendly area. AJ was a great help in picking out a beer to try, and was very welcoming overall. He checked on us a couple times to see if we needed anything, and he was very friendly to our dog. I had a smoked porter with dried chilies and really liked it. My wife had an IPA that she said was ok. We will go back to try more of their beers and hopefully enjoy the patio in warmer weather. Tried the pizza and garlic bread - garlic bread was just another pizza. The pizza is coal fired but tasted more burnt then I like. It was also pretty soggy, wouldn’t recommend. Beer is a cool concept where you pay for what you drink. My husband enjoyed the beers he tried. The space doesn’t have a lot of personality, but it’s ok. I like their dough and unique sauces on the pizza. A bear in the basement is a fun add. Having outdoor space on the second/third level provides a peaceful place to enjoy a beer and good pizza with friends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fabulous! What I loved: two levels of patio space and lots of seating, pouring your own drinks, selection (cocktails as well as beer), AMAZING chip dip and great pizza. Seriously, get the chips and dip. What I liked: prices are pretty good considering the great atmosphere and the speed of service. What I wish: we need a proper stout on the menu! Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was our first time here and we loved the place. Great atmosphere and deceptively big, while still feeling quaint. The patio and the rooftop patio are awesome, with easy access to the taps from anywhere in the place. We went with a standard pepperoni pizza and the Arugula salad with crickets. The salad was fantastic and the pizza had great toppings and crust, but was a little less cooked than I usually prefer. Overall it was a great experience and we’ll be back again soon.

Great space for friends, families, and pets to enjoy beer, wine, and premixed cocktails. The esthetic is beautiful, and the staff/manager are very welcoming. Ordering from your table is also a big plus. Had the pizza, roasted squash, bread pudding. All so delicious! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Cool spot with multiple different floors and self serve taps and most of them. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and my wife got a margarita. The pepperoni was great and the sauce was flavorful. The margarita was decent, the basil is put on at the start of the cook and has a displeasing burnt taste. The margarita was also kind of soggy in the middle and my wife said she would opt for a different pizza next time. Lemonade was good but was $8. The food was a little spendy (in comparison with other twin cities spots) but was good none the less. The beer was reasonably priced but none of them blew me out of the water. This is a very fun and inviting spot for couples, groups and families. I’d give the pepperoni a 5/5 and the marg a 3/5. Service Dine in Price per person $20–30

Out for a walk and ended up being customer #2! The place is amazing with awesome staff and great interior decor. The beer wall is awesome with a bunch of different beers, seltzers and wines on tap. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable so they can help you decide between all the options! Haven’t had the brick oven pizza yet but it smells so good. Great interior and exterior space, they have both a patio and a rooftop! The owner Jillian welcomed me and gave me a tour, she was wonderful. They even have plenty of space for private events. Try this place out, you won’t be disappointed!
