This place is a local favorite with unique variations of BBQ and Mexican eats. I personally have been going here since I was a young boy and I do not plan on stopping any time soon. One of the best things about this place is the customer service and the friendliness of the owner and staff. My favorite dish are the enchiladas! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Oh No! They have raised their prices!!! They have good food, I understand raising the prices but when a cheeseburger goes from $4.20 to almost $5 that's almost a 20% increase, and word around town is that the prices are going up again on January 1st. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was freshly prepared and hot. It took what seemed a reasonable amount of time to prepare my order, and my burger and fries was awesome. Absolutely have loved this place since I was a lil kid. My mom took me there n as I grew up I took her there. Now going there I go in her memory. She always ate 3 tacos meat n cheese only extra cheese. Roger gave her a side bowl of cheese most of the time. Mom n Roger would chat for a bit as I ate my ice cream with bubble gum in it. Thanks Roger for doing what u do and given me some of the happiest memories with my mom. IL never stop eating there as long as your there!! Bert's is a great place to get lots of good food at a reasonable price. I personally love the enchilada dinner. More than you can eat but soooo much fun trying. This place is very good and everything is wonderful. What I got was chill cheese fries and some dumplings my food was delicious.This place is very kid friendly and has such great food.The food is at a really really good price and if you are on a budget this is the place for you. I'm from Ohio and was in the St. Louis area visiting and wanted to check out a local restaurant. Definitely glad I stumbled upon this one food and service was exceptional!!! I had the brisket nachos, it was delicious! Would definitely recommend checking it out if your in the area!
