This was our first visit to Biancke's. It was not a great experience but not totally turned off to another visit. Our waitress was busy running the cash register while we waited on our food, about 30 minutes. My smothered chicken was dry and would not order again. The roasted Brussels sprouts were excellent. The atmosphere definitely gave you a hometown feel. Everyone was really friendly. We will try again. Great restaurant with a great deal of history. Service and food were outstanding. My husband has eaten here on several occasions. We’ll be back! My husband had their meatloaf dinner. It was great. They have been cooking up food at this wonderful restaurant since 1894, serving everything from burgers to steak, plus a daily special. It is all delicious. Make sure you save room for some of the best homemade pie, my personal favorite is the butterscotch. If you find yourself in Cynthiana stop in for a great meal. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First time trying this place. Great homey feel. I had the hamburger steak with side salad and broccoli. The broccoli was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The side salad was a good portion but the star was the thousand Island dressing. If it wasn't homemade, it certainly tasted as if it were. Delish!! My friend had the fried chicken sandwich with homemade chips. I will certainly go back. It is worth the drive from Lexington and what a beautiful drive it is. Why wasn't this a 5 star? The hamburger patty was on the thin side and needed a little more seasoning , but plenty enough to get full on. Was awesome all the way around! Colleen was very helpful! If you're hungry and want a great place to eat, this is it! Had the steak, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli! Found this place on a impromptu drive from Walton Ky and defiantly worth it the stop. Portions are huge! Fried pickles are AMAZING!!! Open face Roast beef and hot brown were great.
