This is the best bakery in Harrisonburg. Anytime I need a sweet treat or a cake for a celebration I know that I’m coming here! I’ve been coming to this bakery since they opened and am consistently and continually excited and delighted by the treats they make. My experience here has always been overwhelming positive. The owners, Erica & Alicia, are top-notch bakers and also wonderful and kind people. If you need a lil treat, a cake, a pie, cookies, I highly recommend ordering from Bittersweet! You’ll never be disappointed.

We absolutely loved our wedding cake, groom's cake, and dessert spread by Bittersweet Bakery! Everything was delicious and perfect. Cannot recommend enough!

We had Bittersweet do our wedding cake and desserts and it was perfect! Everything was beautiful and delicious, I got endless compliments on the desserts! I'm not a huge fan of cake in general but our cake was amazing and they made it so beautiful and matched my vision! So much love for these ladies!

I’ve never eaten anything from Bittersweet Bakery that wasn’t absolutely delicious. The recently made my wedding cake and a few dozen macarons, all of which were fantastic. The cake was beautiful (the butter cream is out of this world) and the macarons were a huge hit. Erica was wonderful to work with and really brought my vision to life!

They make the perfect wedding cake - not too sweet and not too heavy, but incredibly delicious and gorgeous. We have received SO many compliments on our wedding cake. I could not have been happier with it. I highly recommend them for wedding cakes!
