Friendly staff! AMAZING dark chocolate banana muffins. UPDATE: ordered some today on 2/25/24… I think either their batch of dark chocolate muffins were off or they changed their recipe. So sad because it was so good before. The muffin today was very pale in color and did not have as much flavor :/ the original muffin was nice and brown. First pic was how it was a few weeks ago and the one with the fork is today. I was obsessed with the original recipe and even ordered a lot to freeze 😭 Even so, Bix is still worth the visit- just super sad about my fave muffins!!!

I came here to check out the latte art machine and was not disappointed. I chose a dark photo of my dog and the employee immediately offered to re-make it because she said the photo was a bit too dark. I told her it was still super cute and I didn't need it remade, but that was nice of her to offer. (My bad for chosing a dark photo). The latte and avacado toast were both excellent, both employees were super nice and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. 10/10, will come here again. I came to eat Indian food at Saffron Valley, which is next door. This place is the same business but has pastries and coffee. I was really excited to try this place. It has good reviews. I ordered chicken 🍗 and waffles 🤤. And my friend ordered French toast. It was interesting to see coconut 🥥 flakes over the chicken and waffles. I was so disappointed 😔. The chicken was so dry and flavourless. The waffles were a bit mushy and just ok. My friend's French toast was mushy. The maple 🍁 syrup was not a flavor I like. I thought the topping was butter but it was something else that I wasn't a fan of. Bummer. I was really disappointed. Bix Bakery & Café is a cute little coffee shop connected to the back of Saffron Valley in Sugar House. Decided to stop in quickly with my roommate to do some workout the apartment and we enjoyed the environment the Bix provided. We ordered smoothies, a sandwich and a pastry and they were alright. The smoothies were good and they gladly accommodated my special request. The sandwich was also alright— The grilled cheese was a bit soggy from the tomato and my roommate said that it was described as though it came with tomato soup. Finally i got the crème brûlée which was really silky but the sugar they used was too fine and didn’t caramelize the best. I would return again but maybe just for drinks and the atmosphere. From the moment we walked in we were seated.Our server Cam and Lex explained the menu in detail and were very friendly. They even gave us a free Croissant. Went here for the first time because they offered a photo print on your coffee. Place was clean and the service was great! Along with our coffee my wife got a sausage brekki-pot and I got the Brekkie Burrito. Both tasted really good! The burrito had a lot of onions in there, so if you aren't a fan of onions I wouldn't get it. I do like onions though and it tasted great! It's a nice coffee place with an outside patio as well. This place also has free wifi if you ever need to study or work while grabbing your favorite cup of coffee along with food. Give it a try! Beautiful and clean cafe close to Sugarhouse area. I ordered the sausage brekkie-pot and it was delicious! The highlight of my visit was getting my photo printed on my drink. New coffee shop and bakery in the sugar house area worth checking out. The staff is friendly and the coffee is good. It's nice to see a coffee shop with seating, where you can work or study for a few hours. I'll be back to try more bakery items. In addition to their cakes and pastries they have a small menu for breakfast and lunch that covers some of the staples for a quick meal, and made fresh. Definitely worth a visit. Absolutely delicious cakes reasonably priced. The cream on the butterscotch cake cream was very fluffy and delightful. Moist and not overly sweet. The cake to frosting ratio was perfect!
