Very delicious! My husband and I enjoyed dinner. There were several tables that needed to be cleared away from prior customers, but our waitress moved us to a new area where it was cleaner. I love Black Bear Diner and their chicken fried steak! It never disappoints. I try to venture to other items on the menu, though delicious as well, the chicken fried steak always hits the spot. Get the sweet cream pancakes they're tender, and flavorful on their own. Everyone from the West Valley location is so attentive even when they're super slammed- from the hostess, waitress to the manager. I love coming here to eat. I had the grilled chicken cobb salad. It was topped with krispy bacon, Chunks of blue cheese, Slices of fresh avocado, Slices of fresh boiled eggs, Lettuce tritic carrots chopped tomatoes red onion it was delicious. I had a disappointing experience at Black Bear Diner. Food was okay, it comes in big plates and price was fine. However we were a little uncomfortable from the managers attitude, her lack of leadership was evident. She was yelling at every worker all the time we were there,we know Spanish so we know she was giving orders to her workers in a very mean way. However, I must highlight the exceptional service provided by our sweet server with pigtails that was still with a smile for us. She went above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable after all. Managers behavior overshadowed an otherwise fantastic dining experience and left a sour taste in our mouths. The staff deserved better treatment, not being yelled at I front of costumers. The contrast between the exceptional service from the waiter and the managers behavior around costumers was disappointing. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Great breakfast spot. Always have good service and tasty food. The cinnamon roll french toast is fantastic. biscuits and gravy is also really good. They serve pepsi products (yay). The atmosphere is amazing. The interior and exterior are very well decorated and give it a wonderful ambiance. The employees seem genuinely happy to work and therefore are really friendly. The waitress we had was very knowledgeable and helpful. They have a monthly special, which is well worth the time to look into. Everything I have had here so far has been well worth the money. The food really does taste like home cooking. They also have a lot of variety to choose from for almost all dietary needs and food preferences. Delicious breakfast! Had a get together with family members and the service was amazing with our large group! Plus the food is so good! Great hot chocolate too. The food is amazing and I was a big fan i since noticed they hiked the price up to a ridiculous amount. I will not be going back charged me 6 dollars for a large cup of orange juice lol that’s eye gouging I’m better off buying a gallon at the grocery store. Then kids drinks are 1.99 and the cup is super small food was great as allways but definitely will not be going back so much more affordable options around I paid 70 for 1 adult and 3 kids. Visiting from Memphis. We went for breakfast and were extremely disappointed. I had the Grizz and my husband had the steak and eggs. He ordered his steak medium and it was well done. I had the grits and they were not good. The best thing on my plate was the ham and bacon. We never got our pancakes. Our server never came back and checked once he took our orders. I don' t even recall him introducing himself and saying his name. We were finished eating when I was able to flag him down to say the steak was overcooked and we never got our pancakes and we were ready for the check. He informed us they were out of pancake batter. They took care of our meal. I still tipped him $20 because I am a general manager back home. Definitely did not deserve the tip. Maybe he pre-judged us or maybe he was having a bad day Maybe the pancakes would have made up for the rest of the meal.
