You will be offered such food as good blt, wontons and hamburgers, don't hesitate to try them. Ordering tasty belgian waffles, ice cream and creamy cakes is what a number of guests advise. The parking situation at the Maple Grove location is always intimidating. It always seems full and overflowing into the adjacent streets. Needless to say, on a Thursday evening, our party of two got seated straight away, while there were big parties waiting in the foyer. I really wanted to try the smoking old-fashioned that I've been seeing everywhere. And yup, the presentation was fun and the cocktail was dleicious. My sister got the tequila version of it. I like their selection of scotch, definitely better than other restaurants in the area. They have sherry and peated scotch flights, a well as bourbon flights, of course. I'd like to come back and try their wine slushies, too. Good cocktail selection. Brick and Bourbon offers very meaty foods, no doubt to balance with the drinks on hand. We tried the bacon bites, which are 4 different types of bacon, but they serve you the whole thing without labels, so we guessed which ones were which. We alsontried the duck wonton, which is really delicious, albeit we can't really taste the duck lol At that point, I was already full, but I ordered the wagyu beef sliders and later realized, "What's the point of wagyu beef if it's ground?" Seems like a gimmick to me. It was alright, but could I tell that kind of beef from regular beef? Nope. Nice space, fun atmosphere, I just wish they had better parking. Granted, let's take this from when we arrived at about three-something on Valentine's Day...very easy to find a spot, they were able to answer any and all of our questions, being our first time here, and all with absolute hospitality! Leiana was fantabulous! The food... tried the Duck Bacon Wontons for a starter - fabulous!! We will definitely start with those again! For main courses my wife had the Chicken and Waffles...WOW! Blew my wife away (born and raised from Louisiana), she never thought she would get that kind of crunch and flavor! I had the Black & Bleu Mac'n'Cheese...Wowza that rich, tasty, the medallions cut like butter and were so moist. The noodles cooked just right, and that sauce...amazing!! We also grabbed the Maple Glazed Vegetables on the side...so good as well! The signature Chocolate Rose Old Fashioned for the evening was smooth and very tasty! The Raspberry Wine Slushie was very refreshing and tasty! For dessert, we had the Pecan Pie with ice cream, so gooey and delicious! Also had the Bourbon Maple Creme Brulee...perfect crusted top, and so melty, creamy on the inside. 10/10 will definitely be back again!! I am so happy to find a bar/restaurant with good food and fun drinks. That has plenty of low tables to preserve dignity for us short people and not having to scramble up a tall chair without looking like a hobbit. I had a blackberry cider, with lobster Mac and cheese. I would not normally pick Mac n cheese for fear of over cooked noodles and dull cheese sauce. This was perfect. Only change I would like to have is more lobster, mixed in the dish. PART 2: Made it back for the smoked old fashion. It was exactly what I wanted. It was slightly sweet, great smoke presentation, and smoke aroma until the last drop. The quarter of waffle was good for dunking. But I did not like the bacon. So I just left it in the drink. (A candied maple bacon that is eatable would have been perfect!) Had the potato soup in a bread bowl. Nothing less than spectacular. Thick and a rich flavor, almost a pepererish heat that is not overwhelming. Fair amount of potatoes. My wife had the Beer Brat & Cheese soup, she was kind enough to share a bite. It was just as thick and flavorful as mine... now I have to have a bowl! PART 1: Went during a busy time but were quickly seated. Drinks came quickly as did the food, I was surprised. We were looking for something light and shared a salad and sliders. They have a smoked old fashion that I wanted to try but will come back another time. If you see a large glass covering for like a pie, but can't see what's under it, you realize it's the smoked old fashioned. I ordered the fall pear old fashion and enjoyed it. Everything was great. This was the second time here. My daughter and son-in-law brought us the first time and remembered how good everything was. This is somewhat of a step up in dining and has a full bar. It's worth checking out! FYI, I'm a fan of PB&J bugers, so I'm coming back for that and the smoked old fashion! We were seated right away for a weekend gathering of family. Waiter was knowledgeable and attentive with his section of tables. Food was tasty, drinks were cold. Enjoyed our visit. First time diner. Loved it!! Service was great, the food was very hot and delicious, and the ambiance was incredible. Ryan and his crew did a wonderful job making us feel welcome. Even though it was fairly busy, we still received quick service and super hot food. I would definitely recommend a visit. I know we are sure to return soon. Next time, I'm going to try the chocolate chunk pecan pie. I've included pictures of my Tator Tot Hotdish. Delicious. Quality food. Only concern is how much ice is added in the alcohol beverages. For how pricey it is the ice takes up for a lot of the drink so two $12/$14 per drink barely gives a buzz if that’s what you are looking for. Otherwise fast service with good atmosphere. Great experience all around. The staff, food, and atmosphere are top-notch... even the fries are excellent (we got an extra order because they were so good). I ordered the firecracker shrimp roll, and I upgraded my side to the creamed corn. The other parties in my group got the Waygu Sliders and a regular burger. We got the pecan pie for dessert. Everything tasted amazing, and we had an excellent time. This place is definitely worth visiting!
