The food was well made and came extremely quickly with the large group we had with us. The staff was very good at keeping our waters and coffee topped off. Also, the view of the runway and the plane taking off and landing is the best. I do recommend this for anyone. The service here is unmatched on the peninsula. We are always welcomed and feel like it's coming home when we eat here. They are typically understaffed, but the ones that come like working here and make up for it. The food is decent, especially for airport food. I would say that it passes expectation. There are many places to eat with a view here in Alaska. We certainly value a great atmosphere. Being able to eat right next to small planes coming and going has become one of our favorite lunch spots. Our son jumps up and stares in wonder each time a plane lands or takes off. Absolutely recommend for families. They also rotate out local artist's work so there it typically something new or different to see each time.
