Absolutely loved it. Remember the scene in Ratatouille where the guy remembers his entire childhood from a bite of food?
That is this restaurant. I've never experienced anything like it. I was transported hundreds of miles away to my grandmother's kitchen. It was a perfect meal.

7 of us stopped here for lunch after our morning bike ride on the NA Greeneway. Turned out to be a wise decision. Being lent season, we ordered the fried flounder plate & a veggies plate. The flounder pieces were large, light & crunchy - just perfect. The sides were really good, but our favorites were okra & tomatoes, butter beans, green beans, & mac-n-cheese. Service was fine. We were the first customers, but it quickly filled up. Plenty street parking. We will definitely return.

Before today it had been a while since I visited. It will probably be another long while before I visit again. I did enjoy the smothered chicken but that was it. I had to send back my sides. The waitress was very nice.

Okay so let's start off with this was my first time at this restaurant ..I did online order ..order wasn't ready and had to wait an additional 30 minutes..
I ordered roast beef ..cabbage..candied yams..let's just say I ordered the wrong meal 😒..The meal was underseaoned as a whole . The beef was tender thankfully.. the cabbage tasted like it had sugar in it 🤮. Who puts sugar.in cabbage. The yams were not good .tasted like they were from the can ..
I didn't even finish my meal ..complete waste of money for me .
