Phenomenal. Not only did this ship super quick, but the ground coffee was as fresh as if I was in the actual store. Shipping from Maine to Colorado in only a matter of days is much appreciated and will continue to support this store by making online purchases until I'm able to head back east and visit in person!

We used to have a favorite place for whole beans in our own state (DE), but Carrabassett has completely taken over our coffee shelf ever since a local shop started importing it. It's absolutely fantastic--smooth, fresh, free of any bitter notes whatsoever. It's just magical coffee, impossible to have a bad cup. Favorites are the Carrabassett Classic, Northwoods, and Einstein. Love their lighter blends in particular. So glad to have stumbled on them; if we ever take a trip to Maine we will make sure to visit in person.

Stopped to Pick up coffee and ask questions about the appropriate grind and make new selections. An update: We have tried many of their coffees over the last three years in either the drip process or whole bean through a De Longhi. (I drink too much coffee) We have favorites; however, we find the Burundi Twaranyuzwe as a new favorite morning coffee by the drip process. In the future, I will get it in whole beans to see if there is any differences in taste running it through the De Longhi.

The coffee is great! Five stars for that...The bags are terrible! The opening is barely big enough to get a small (Tbs), long handled scoop into it. Hard enough to get the coffee out when the bag is full... nearly impossible to get the coffee out without making a mess once you've used some of it. I end up cutting the top off and using a clip to keep it closed. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a re-closable bag. Two stars for that.

I have been a customer since 2013. Since finding Carrabassett I haven't bought any other coffee. The Back Draft is the best I have ever had. The staff is incredibly helpful and when asked for recommendations are spot on. I'm so glad the business has grown and more people know about them.

Best coffee roasters in Maine! Their customer service is top notch and they make sure your order is shipped out immediately. When I say immediately I mean when I place my order at midnight, they open at 8am it’s been freshly ground for my order and out in the mail by 10am. Arriving within 24-48 hours. I am a loyal CCC customer for these reasons!! 5 stars all around!!

The only coffee we will drink now, nothing else compares! It all started at the Woodsman and them we stopped in to get a bag to take home... now we order monthly! Coconut Cream, Jamaican Me Crazy, Maple Walnut, Blueberry Cobbler... all amazing!

Great coffee, very reasonably priced when you realize most brands switched to 12 Oz packages. These guys still do the full pound.
