Extensive Mex menu. The food were delicious and large amount, too large for a small person like me. Less salty than other Mex restaurant. Drinks were mediocre. Services were always great and attentive. Every server was pleasant. Seafood were fresh. Shrimp and rice baked in pineapple - St.Germaine, was very delicious. Fajita was good too. Had a wonderful time here and Eduardo made our experience so much more fun being very friendly and welcoming. The food tasted amazing; we had the fish tacos and shrimp salad, and the portions were huge! Very fresh and delicious. Amazing find from Google search. Ample parking in an upscale outdoor mall called The Forum. Friday night the place was packed. Although we were told it would be almost an hour wait, we were pleasantly surprised to get in only 15 minutes. Service was amazing. Jose Luna was our waiter and was fantastic. Wife says Coconut Margarita was the best she's ever had. Our dishes were served quickly and hot. The pork burrito was amazing. Deep fried ice cream dessert was on point and a great value. Mariachi singers were great and sung many different unexpected songs. Overall an amazing experience. Definitely be back. Absolutely one of the best and most authentic sit down Mexican restaurants in San Diego County. The food is excellent, with quality ingredients and well prepared. Whole restaurant is very inviting and comfortable. There is a ton of seating options here. It is a large restaurant. There is a big bar area and several out door patio seating options available. The prices are on par with other sit down Mexican restaurants, but the portions and quality is a step up. They even have a tortilla station so you can get fresh tortillas with your food. The selections of drinks is great, the margaritas have a more natural taste because they are made with real ingredients. There is also a huge selection of tequila here, casting to all price points. All of the staff have been helpful and pleasant to deal with. There is a huge parking lot surrounding the restaurant, and a outdoor mall to visit before or after dining. It's a great place to bring families. There is enough tables to accommodate any size party. We sat behind the station where 2 lovely ladies were hand rolling out fresh Flour n corn Tortillas. We ordered drinks n 3 dishes, one dish to come home. Both of our dinners were Exceptional too! Great flavors, all fresh ingredients, beautiful plated and they came out hot from the kitchen, which is rare these days. Service was fantastic, friendly staff and we never felt rushed. Casa De Bandini is still one of my favorite sit down Mexican food places in San Diego. I cannot get past the chicken mole. One recommendation is to not eat too many chips with salsa at the beginning because the portions are good sized.
