Had the VERY Best time on Walleye Wednesday at Castaways. Our waitress Jessica was a complete floor show. The Walleye was fantastic and don't tell a soul. We want to go again so ya'll just stay at home!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Mediocre at best. I don't know why we gave this place a second chance (in 3 years) but we won't do that again. Waitress gave fairly good service considering she was alone and was bartender too. However when I did bring up item missing from my $15 plate she said she'd bring it but never did. Fried mushrooms were OK, a bit salty but definitely oily. Stopped in here several times while visiting Table Rock Lake. Great little place. Great waitresses. Great food. Fish is awesome and burgers fantastic. Love the potato salad. Walked in and waited a few minutes to get help and asked for patio seating...waitress' reply was "I'm too busy and if you want good service you will need to sit inside" then turned away and we just walked out. They either need more servers or a good attitude adjustment with staff. Service: 1

Next time we eat here, we will have to check out the deck. That is my only regret, and not taking any pictures. Ordered the Swiss Mushroom Burger with curly fries. OMG, this burger was awesome! The flavor was spot on with plenty of mushrooms and cheese. I am usually disappointed in curly fires, but these were perfect. We will be back next time we are in the area! Don't be fooled by appearance when you walk in it looks like a basic bar. Most people with small children went to the deck and enjoyed the view while eating their meal. Food was outstanding! Loved the option for grilled mixed veggies for a side. Would have rated a five if we hadn't had to wait 30 minutes (only a handful of people here when we arrived) for our sandwiches. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was excellent, as was the service. There were several tv's mounted and an enclosed patio plus an outside deck where patrons can see the Kimberling City bridge over Tablerock lake. Will definitely be back!
