This is a fantastic little place that I stumbled upon one morning. I thought I would try it out. It was unbelievable that I could get this breakfast and coffee for less than a McDonald's sandwich. Great deal, great service. Place was very welcoming and portions were good, servers were kind and would def come here with the family if looking to get a diner feel for the night! Prices here are very high considering it's basically mom and pop dinner food with about the same quality. Went here with a family of 6 prepared to spend about 70 to 80 dollars typical of dinner prices. I was extremely surprised when the bill came and it was over 150 and the food wasn't even that good with mediocre service. Will definitely not come back here ever again. First time here and I had the chicken stir fry and chicken corn soup. What I had was good but it was nothing to write home about. It's expensive for a Greek owned diner. For 3 people, 2 waters, and a soda was $50 some bucks. I doubt I'll be back any time soon. Service was eh, kinda slow off you ask me. I doubt I'll be back any time soon. We had Thanksgiving breakfast there. The food was outstanding and the service was great. The food came out quick and my coffee cup was always full. The only down side to the visit was that it was a little pricey. For four of us our bill was just shy of $60, and these were normal prices, not bumped up for the holiday. Only reason for the star is I can’t give a zero yes ordered from door dash but food was awful ordered a chicken salad melt food came all messed up the chicken salad was definitely microwaved soggy mess and hot but bread was not crispy and the pickles a mess called they blamed door dash and refused to refund my money I had a few min for lunch break threw it out and let them know this is why I haven’t been back gave them another chance and dissatisfied! I never leave reviews but a waste of 20 dollars to go in the trash manager said she put it together herself and it was fine even look at the pickle slices do not waste your money only reason I did not order from Trojan was because they are not on door dash learned my lesson the hard way and the fact the diner did not even bother to fix it but blamed someone else not ok you microwaved mayonnaise no way it was that hot but soggy they used to be good not anymore and don’t care to refund when I said I would return it ridiculous went to the dumpster Service Delivery Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

We lucked out and got to this place at a time when they were not all that busy. We were seated immediately, and our friendly server Beth arrived quickly to take our drink orders. Brewing of a fresh pot of coffee ensued. Our main problem with the menu was too many choices that looked good. Once we made our decision and ordered, the food arrived promptly and was exactly as requested. We had not been here before, but will probably be back to eat here again.

Great first time experience at the Chambersburg Family Diner. Quick and friendly service combined with delicious waffles will bring us back for sure. The parking lot was big, but a bit of a hassle to turn into as you must be going in the right direction. I would not hesitate to order the waffle with blueberries and ice cream.
