There is an acoustics issue with noise around you while sitting at any part of the restaurant. The lighting is relaxing. Esthetically very pleasing to me. Food is usually very good. I always love eating at Charleston’s. One of the defining features is how often they open the door for you. It is not something that makes it fancy but it is a detailed quality that people remember. I also like how we are always welcomed in, instead of a simple hi or hello. A greeting that can be appreciated by all generations in all walks of life. So next time you have time for lunch between work calls or want to grab dinner with the family go down to Charleston’s in Edmond to be welcomed in for a wonderful meal. Service was great as usual. Kaitin our waitress was wonderful and very helpful. She made sure drinks were topped off and if we needed anything else (they were very busy as it was lunch time). The basil flatbread pizza was great. Good flavor, fresh toppings and crust was wonderful. Charleston's always has great food and good service. I love how friendly the staff are and willing to make sure needs are met. They open the door for you and make sure you are greeted kindly. Management does like to make sure needs are met too. They have a glazed or candied carrot dish with cracked black pepper that is devine, it's always one of my sides. Yesterday I had the fried catfish, good portion size and tartar sauce make you want to kiss your momma and a fresh coleslaw. All the food was fresh, it always is. It's the only restaurant I can go to that doesn't send my blood pressure spiking from salt because all the food is fresh. Enjoy!!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was cold when I got my pork chop cut- probably because the cold draft blowing from vents everywhere. I asked 3 different wait staff to ask the manager to turn the air off to no avail , and finally asked him myself and he said he would, but he only turned up the temperature a tad I guess because cool air was still blowing on me. The carrots were a tad undercooked and I had to take off some kind of tiny seeds on them- they tasted good but would be better warm. The mashed potatoes had chives in therm I think, I had to pick out the red potato peels and I hate white gravy but that's all they have so I had to do without any gravy and it was cold as well but with some butter it tasted good- ditto better if warm. The pork chop was cooked exactly how I ordered it dark brown, no pink inside, plus was moist enough and had some juice on bottom I put in top my potatoes but ditto better if warm. Dr. Pepper was way too watery but I got a second one without asking. I had to ask three times of two different wait people before I got a spoon before I got my meal. Not very well lit, and I'm having trouble with my eyesight lately, so I used my phone flashlight to look at my receipt and I would have to use it for the menu but I called before I came. I asked if I could substitute carrots for baked beans. I just assumed they had choices for gravy. You can order 1 pork chop with 1 side for a meal, but its not on the mend, so you have to tell them. I ordered that plus 1 extra side. Music is nice. $26.52 + tip for 1 person. Carryout if I order again maybe Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Let me start off by saying that when we first walked in, the atmosphere was great, and the people in the front were very friendly when greeting us. Our server, Madeline, was the best she kept our drinks coming, and they never ran out. She would always check up on us and see if we needed anything. The salad was amazing, and the spinach dip was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it. The main dish was the Hawaiian rib eye, one of the best steaks I've eaten in a while the outside was glazed and the inside was pink. I would recommend getting this cooked medium rare as I did. We went in Sat 12/28/22 for a late dinner around 7:45pm after I got cleaned up after a shift at work. We went without reservations. We were going to be seated at a table, but was kindly provided a booth upon request. I got the fish of the day and my SO ordered the French Dip with fries. Over my past several visits, I've been forcing myself to try a different dish and I'm not surprised that each one has been delicious.
