Still 5 starts across the board. We come here every time we come to Longview. I will have to say this dinner tonight 1-25-24 was not on par as they usually are. The waitress forgot our croissants. Most of the food was still good, we had the spinach dip as an appetizer. However, my burger was very well done on one side. The whole side was crispy black. It was very dry and overcooked. I ordered Cole slaw as my side just to try something new when I come as always. I didn't like it at all. It looked like it would taste good. It was very bland and dry. Sorry guys. I brag on this place, it's a favorite. It still is, because I've tried lots of things on the menu which I don't do at every place I go. I normally just stick with what I know is good. We were passing through Longview TX and we have never been to a Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen before and our server Abigail G. made our 1st experience wonderful. She was sweet, nice and very helpful. Absolutely amazing. The grilled whitefish was cooked to perfection. I couldn’t even put the sauce on it was so good. Hats off to the chef and team! Our waitress Quintana was beyond exceptional. Her suggestions were spot on. I love it when we find good places to eat with great staff! I love this place. It's been years since last time and it seems like the food just got better and different. I love the way everything is setup, and very clean too! The food is excellent, no doubt.
