It's easy to find this restaurant due to its great location. Nothing can be better than trying perfectly cooked chicken pies, salmon and philly cheese steaks. Many people suppose that biscuits are tasty. You will be offered delicious margaritas, bourbon or beer. Good ice tea is a decent choice. The professional staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The prompt service is a big benefit of Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. With the extensive wait times. You’d think you could afford to hire a company to come clean your booths some morning before you open. Absolutely disgusting experience. Food was very good. I had the 8 Oz salmon, baked potato, and veggies. My wife had the chicken pecan salad. Both were worth the money...and reasonably priced I'd like to add. We had the spinach dip for an appetizer which was delicious. Great atmosphere. Will Def be back! Had an AMAZING dinner here. Brittney, our waitress was very good and knew her stuff. This place was busy when we went and had no wait, our appetizers came quick, food came just as fast. Brittney was on top of making sure we were happy with everything we ordered. Asked for suggestions on dessert and she said the Carrot cake was her favorite. (Which WAS AMAZING!!) We haven't had a Cheddar's near our town for years... So, this was on the top of our list while visiting family in the Joplin, MO area for Christmas. It was just the way I remembered it... right down to the palm fan. 😄 Our food was excellent! Unfortunately, they ran out of fries, so we had to make adjustments for the kiddos. Could have been worse for a busy holiday week. 2 huge parties left right before we were seated. 😳 Anyway, the food was amazing, and our server was even better. She was very attentive and quick with the refills. If you're in the Joplin area, stop in! Restaurant was crowded and noisy during the lunch hour, with music that made it difficult to talk at our table. We ordered the fried cheese curds as an appetizer. They probably would have been better if they had cooked a bit longer and/or spent less time under a warming lamp - but they were cold in the middle and unappetizing. My daughter's hamburger seemed fine, as well as husband's steak (his shrimp may have hung out with the cheese curds under the warmer too long), but I wasn't so lucky. My trio sampler was either overcooked (tortilla chips were extra crispy, and the chicken strips suffered the same fate as the shrimp, apparently) or undercooked (the spinach dip was very watery!). To be fair, the waitress did notice I hadn't eaten my meal and asked if everything at the table was OK when I indicated I did not need a to-go box for my meal. She was sweet, just busy. Always a great place to dine. I had the bourbon salmon and a Sangria. Salmon was cooked perfectly. The honey butter croissants were warm and crispy. My waiter, Isaac was the best. He was busy and still made time to check on me often, I really appreciated that. Love the aquarium. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Had a great dinner at Cheddars! I had the Monte Cristo sandwich. Cheddars knows that a Monte Cristo has raspberry preserves, not honey. (Competitors take note) others in our group had chicken strips, chicken fried steak, shrimp salad and chicken/ broccoli Alfredo. There was a little problem with the salad and the dressing but Cheddars corrected it and no charge for that meal. All good. Server was super friendly and the food was great! I suggest trying the Peach tea with an orange vs a lemon wedge! So good! Clean place, clean bathrooms, good service and good food. I recommend and will return.
