The other day was the first time I was able to eat at this restaurant. But I have driven past it many times and have had many friends speak highly of this restaurant. I went in yesterday and was served by a friendly waitress who was highly professional and the food was right. Quick, a great menu, and I loved my dinner. I will most definitely be back to Cheers. As a side note being middle-aged and having grown up as a child watching Cheers television show. I know one has nothing to do with the other. But boy boy did it bring back some nostalgia which I hadn't thought of in years. And so I thank Cheers the restaurant for doing that as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wait staff was good but I had to request a lunch special menu as it was not offered upon being seated. My waitstaff never offered it to me. My bill was a little over 10.00 and some change and paid with a 20.00 My waitstaff thought that I did not want my change back. Although I did tip 20% this bothered me that they assumed that I was going to give them over a 9.00 tip for a 10.00 and some change order. I just had ice water to drink and my entree! I had a chicken ceasar salad and it was disgusting! Loaded with way too much dressing and had the big chunk of the lettuce head in it. Soggy and nasty. The lady I went with had smelt and it smelled so unbelievably gross. While I know it is a more pungent fish, the smell made me want to vomit. She enjoyed it, but based on that smell, I would never ever order it. The service wasn't wonderful either. 😕 I will not go back. I came here for a friend's birthday party. The drinks I got were very good for the price and they had karaoke. This place definitely seems more like they want an family friendly environment than a dive bar and I respect that. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

December 30, 2023 i went here with a friend to cattch the end of Lions VS Dallas game. I got the Reuben Sandwich and fries. First bite I knew something was off. I just assumed that they used a different cheese other than Swiss. By the time I got back to Muskegon I started feeling ill. Not even 1 minute inside my house I got sick. I'll never eat there again. Staff was great, my friends salad he order said was fine. I just wouldn't recommend the Reben Sandwich or ask to make sure everything is fresh because it's obvious it wasn't on the Sandwich they made me. We had the area connected to the main room that could fit a couple of dozen people. It was tight but doable, especially with our superb waitress, Ashley! We stopped at Cheer's after my son's tennis match this fall. I debated back and forth on a few items on the menu. Found the meatloaf and asked the waitress if she would recommend that or a different selection. She was quick to reply that she wasn't a fan of "meat" but many of the locals ordered the meatloaf and loved it. What a great choice!! There was plenty for me to eat and I let my son try a few bites as well. My son had the fish & chips and was satisfied with his selection, but said he would probably order the meatloaf next visit. Now we can't wait for our next visit! You knocked out of ball park Cheer's!!! Thank you to all! Our entire visit was beyond incredible!! There is a HUGE menu! We had an amazing waitress, Emily. She was super nice and very attentive. The food was awesome. We started with the chips and cheese, which was delicious. I got the Guinness BBQ salmon, superb!! My husband got the perch basket and loved it!
