The food was great with a menu that takes classic Turkish dishes and gives them a twist - recommend the manti and the orange scented meat. The chef speaks excellent English and not only he's very helpful, he's also very fun with a big smile on his face - if you visit Kayseri you have to try this restaurant. This place was great! We are visitors to kayseri and this is the best restaurant we found in the area. Şef remzi himself is so warm and welcoming and was great with our 2 year old. The food was beautiful to look at, it looked exactly the same as the photos on the menu. It was just as beautiful to eat. A course of meze with freshly baked bread rolls including turmeric rolls was given to start for free. There was only 1 option for child's menu but that was pasta meatballs and chips, a huge portion too, more than enough for our 2 year old. I chose the vegetarian börek and chef salad and my husband had the orange beef tenderloin risotto. The staff were equally attentive and helpful. We did not see ice cream on the menu but asked if they had any for our son. They brought out sorbet for him that was made so pretty too. We are based in fethiye and I can easily say the food, service and staff at remzi restaurant is far superior to any restaurant we have been to in Turkey. We went there quite late, but they were happy to host us and all the staff have been so friendly and nice. We had a great time and the food was amazing! I especially recommend sarma and pastirma with cheese. Highly recommend!
