Such a delicious sandwich. Possibly the best I’ve had! I had tuna and it had a tomato sauce, salad, olive oil, olives. They make them fresh but have some on display in the window. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

This was just perfect. A small place just outside of Mdina, the moment you stand in front of their door you smell the absolutely delicious smell of the ftiras they are preparing, and, yes, the smell doesn't lie, their ftira is absolutely delicious. And for a very good price, too! The staff is kind, you can charge your phone at your table, and you'll eat some of the best food available in Rabat or Mdina - absolutely do visit! This place is great! It is a tiny cafe-like restaurant (has only four tables and a bar), yet the atmosphere is great and authentic. We saw many locals eating there (always a good sign). Our walking tour guide suggested we eat Ftira there... He was damn right! We had the vegetarian Ftira and it was delicious 🤤, it was served warm and crispy with a juicy feeling of all that's good on this earth: bean paste, tomatoes, salad,... Just delicious. I paired it with a ginger-lemon tea with honey. The service was also great, the place was clean and... Please go there if you visit Mdina/Rabat. Such a great place in Rabat, near Mdina exit where you will find delicious local food for a very affordable price! We had the Maltese Platter and a Chicken Ftira, which were both very good! Ordered tuna ftira and something sweet with dates called imqaret, both were amazing especially ftira was amazing and had a great fresh taste, a little hidden gem a must try. Prices are reasonable and good portions, orange juice was very fresh aswell, if you are here in Rabat, must try. All people working here are seniors thats why they have traditional taste, amazing 👏 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Lovely food served by a lovely shopkeeper and cook. We had one of the best crêpes we’ve ever had and it was fresh as one can get. We opted for the savoury crepes and they were all indeed savoury. We bought the mushroom crepes and you can really taste the rich savouriness of the mushrooms in the crêpes. Not only was the food cheap but the laid back and relaxed atmosphere inside will make you come back for more. The food smells great here too!

We had Ravioli and Arabiatta pasta and chicken and maltese sausage ftira. All of them were awesome especially the sausage ftira and ravioli was top notch. The price was very cheap and the service and behaviour was super. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
