No one was there to greet us when we came it for one and we waited about 10 to 15 mins to even be recognized that we were standing there for seating. I got to my table and it was water or soda in the seat and food still on the table, so I grab there wash rag and clean my table and seat. My wife and I ordered our food her burger came out over cooked she sent it back and once again came back over cooked crispy and dry. My Big mouth chicken sandwich was under cook and drowned in the sauce. On top of it all the manager never came out to see what was the problem. No good customer service. Came in with my family and together we was a group of three. We waited at least 10 minutes and no one came to speak with us to let us know a wait time and the guys are cleaning tables while the women stood in the back chatting and not given a care about the customers. The Waxahachie location was great. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were greeted then taken to our table. The gentleman taking care of us was pretty busy, so we would look for him for refills or other items we needed. They could have been short staffed, who knows. Our food was delicious and we also had dessert, molten chocolate cake is a must of you're a chocolate lover. We ordered fajitas. The beef and chicken were thin, short cuts, and didn't look like any fajitas I'd ever seen. Our appetizers were sweet, spicy chicken wings. The chicken wings were good. We felt cheated on the budget fajitas. But this restaurant charges full, real fajitas prices. We paid 100.00, including tip. I guess this is how this Chili's will get through the recession. This particular experience was anything but a basic run-of-the-mill Chili's restaurant. What made this particular experience so memorable is the fact that the staff was eager to wait on us, the table and silverware and glasses and plates were nice and clean, and the overall atmosphere in the restaurant staff including was pleasant to say the least. We felt like we had plenty of time to make our decisions on appetizers and entrees, as well as plenty of time to make our drink choices. Also there was no rush for us to pay the check and leave the restaurant, it felt quite inviting actually. All in all prices were pretty good for eating out these days, the food was higher-quality that I generally have experienced in recent past at a Chili's restaurant, and the manager even came over to our table just to make sure everything was as expected. Very nice place to eat, but can get loud near the bar area. Good food and had a nice staff. Drink specials and plenty of TVs for the sport fans. Will go back soon. Very pleased.
