Visited long Beach for the first time with my family. We all love clam chowder and saw this cute little restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing and the sisters were so hospitable and sweet. We didn't expect to eat at this restaurant, and we definitely did not expect such delicious food! The owners are oh so kind and patient, and the soup is SPECTACULAR. Date: August 27, 2023 Got the Bread Bowl Chowder! Chowder itself was delightful, but the chowder biscuits I didn't quite enjoy, and the bread can become quite filling. Don’t know who would give a four star review with out giving a five star review!! This place has it all! Highly recommend everything on the menu, because you know it will be yummy! We are central coast people and we moved North coast last year. For some reason, everyone north coast puts bacon in their chowder. This is the only place we know of that makes a banging chowder with giant chunks of clam and NO BACON. The coleslaw is particularly something special. The sisters are fabulous people, welcoming and kind. You WILL leave as friends. The prices are affordable for everyone. Don’t forget to ring the bell on your way out. Well worth the stop and conveniently located next door to Marshes Museum too. We love you Chowder Sisters!!
