Classic local diner environment with hometown charm. Like many of these place it has great food, good atmosphere, and is often under staffed. Sprinkle the occasional screaming baby in there and presto!...classic Americana! My only advice for improvement would be to work on keeping those coffee cups full. Seriously though folks, worth the wait ans worth the visit. Local gem!

Breakfast
I wanted to love this place based on other's reviews and its close proximity to home but I was disappointed. The food was fine other than the hamburger patty ordered for breakfast was hard, dry, and tough, and the coffee didn't seem hot enough. The staff was very kind. The prices are ok. Maybe, I will give it another try in a few weeks...maye it was just an off day.
Update: Our second trip was a repeat of the first. The food is just fine. For example, the eggs while properly prepared were not seasoned at all, and neither were the hashbrowns. The biscuit in the biscuit and gravy was microwaved until it was rock hard. It was all rather bland.

Went in for a brunch date.
I had the chicken fried steak. First time ordering one for myself. 👎🏻
The hamburger patty had an out of date stale fridge flavor that was too hard to get past to finish it. The breading was not crispy, part of which may be due to the plain under seasoned gravy (I did find 1 piece of sausage) the unappealing hash browns were mehhh, but edible. Credit for the good over easy eggs.
The coffee was disappointing.
My date had the Eggs Benedict not her first time
I've never ordered E.B. before but know when the Hollandaise sauce has broken and would not serve it to a customer, a family member maybe but that's at home. (I guess she was treated like family?) Hash browns were the same. OJ was good.
Seating was plentiful and no wait.
I have driven by this place many times and hardly noticed it.
I won't say stay away but keep your expectations low... maybe a little lower than that.
The interior had a dark 1970 old home vibe not very cohesive for a breakfast/lunch eatery. Dinner maybe.

Took my mom out to lunch here and boy was it yummy! The burger was generously sized and the fries were perfectly crisp. I will definitely have to go back to try breakfast.

We were seated so fast. Ordered and waited maybe 10 minutes for food and it was ready. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Best breakfast place in Nampa/ Caldwell area. Seriously stop here and try the food. We will definitely be back.

Great place! We were visiting Nampa and wanted a good breakfast Cafe and based on reviews, I chose this one. The service was great and the food was great! Our server, Amy, was very courteous, helpful and friendly! The environment was nice and comfortable! Will definitely come back!
It's a great small town breakfast and lunch cafe. They prices are great and the portions are very generous. Then to top it off the food is very tastey . The service was great also. I will recommend this place and definitely be a return customer.
