Just had a great dining experience! My wife and I are always on the hunt for good seafood, and this is by far the best boil place around! Very fresh seafood, perfectly cooked, great spice level (we had medium cajun), and sauce that features real butter! Very clean place, super friendly staff, and an owner that is checking in on everything. We will be back, they EARNED some regulars (and we don't even live close). Heartbreaking to share this review because I really loved the service/staff and wanted this to be my next “go-to” seafood boil spot instead of driving all the way to Schaumburg for a seafood boil. My order: shrimp, corn and potatoes with the medium sauce. 3 lemon pepper and 3 buffalo. The shrimp sphaghetti and some garlic bread. The wings were delicious and cooked to perfection, but extremely small. What broke my heart the most was my shrimp seafood boil that totally lacked flavor. Not only flavor, but sauce. It seemed dry to me so I asked for more sauce and for them to bring the hotter sauce in hopes there would be more flavor in that one. Sadly it was just dry and flavorless. We tried adding butter and lemon but still missing something. Not sure if they let the shrimp and corn soak in the sauce for some time- but it tasted like steamed shrimp with some sauce thrown on top of it. We were once loyal customers of this place,from 2015. Under the previous ownership, the emphasis on customer care and the delightful seasoned seafood, especially the lemon pepper shrimp and snow crab legs, made our visits memorable. However, with the recent change in ownership, our concerns seem overlooked, and the seasoning has become a disappointment. Regrettably, we may have to reconsider continuing our visits here. Applying a fresh coat of paint on the floor could not only refresh the visual appeal but also contribute significantly to a cleaner and more pleasant atmosphere.
