Loved the Carr Valley Cheese Curds, Craftsman Burger & if you’re a martini person the Nitro Espresso is excellent! The only downside was the slow service and inattentive bartender. Can be a little pricey but our family enjoys the food. If there is one thing to change, I would love for the default side (a boatload of house made chips) to be replaced with a handful of fries. The chips do not hit the spot and there are way too many of them, while the fries are delicious. 5-6 waffle fries instead of a mountain of blah chips, with the upcharge for extra fries, would make for a better meal, less waste, and hopefully neutral costs for the restaurant. Tried this place on a whim today. So happy we did. Our server Stephanie was great. She definitely went out of her way to make our visit top notch. Great stop for socializing and food. I entered through the wrong door and had to walk across the restaurant to the host. Seated promptly and my server came quickly. Nice place for a good brunch - and the food is fresh and on the healthier side which is always nice after a few drinks the night before. We stopped in for restaurant week and were impressed with the food here. We tried the Deviled Eggs, brussel sprout toast, aloha burger, chocolate mousse and roasted walnut torte. Wow, what a great lunch. Great, friendly service to top it off. The brussel sprout toast and walnut torte were especially delicious. We really enjoyed our time here. Had the cheese curds which were excellent, I try to Wisconsin old fashioned for the first time. I love an old-fashioned, this was an interesting twist. Non-sweet for me. The burger was for my pregnant niece who joined us for the meal, the rest of us had the brussels sprouts salads along with the cheese curds and the soft pretzel covered in cheese sauce. Our waitress was excellent, but too young to drink so couldn't really tell me about the difference between a regular old fashioned and a Wisconsin old fashioned, but when in Rome huh?
