It’s sad that the service is so awful. Ordered two meals to go. $42 total and I tipped. I get home and they forgot the sauce, I drive back 15 miles, they question that they gave it to me. Then I ask if I can get chips and salsa, $13.80 for chips and salsa. 🤯 I was surprised, thought they would offer them as service given I came back for their mistake. The person “jose” behind the bar goes “I give you chips, not the salsa”. Condescending and rude. I will be sure to let everyone know. I used to enjoy brining family from out of town here, while the breakfast is average (depending on cook), they do make a good huevo ranchero. Needless to say, I regret patronizing this place. I’ve had issues with hair in my food before, and then re using utensils …but I was willing to look past that as accidents happen. But now this, and one of their employees bragging about their mark up’s as I ran into them at the YMCA, no one should patronize a place they will look to gouch their customers at any opportunity. Go to Jimmy’s Pancake or QC Pancake house. You will save money, have much better food and be supporting a local business that cares. The only reason I gave D'Lua 5 stars is because Google won't let me give them 10 stars. Whenever my wife and I have some free time to have breakfast together, we always go to the closest D'Lua location. Sometimes it's Moline, sometimes it's Bettendorf, sometimes it's downtown Davenport.
