The food is so disappointing! I’m from Georgia- the south, where food is your brand and says everything about you. Moving forward, when I got home and started eating my to go order I was thinking to myself, how do you screw up on brisket, baked beans, macaroni and cheese and candied yams! Honestly, I was so happy that I only ordered one plate. It was horrible! Conversely, the ambience is amazing, so inviting and perfect for a nice meal. First time eating here and it was pretty good! The line was long and took maybe 30 min overall to get our food. The Pulled Pork was good except the grease it was swimming in. The Mac n Cheese was okay...the roux was broken. Definitely not worth the extra $5 you pay for it! The Greens were good. Overall the meats are good, the sides are okay. I have now been to Daddy’O BBQ THREE Times in the last two weeks! Good authentic BBQ is so hard to find and we are fortunate to have them within a short driving distance. For me, the pork ribs are everything! I really enjoyed the beef brisket…it literally melts in your mouth! I enjoyed the pulled pork and chicken as well. The sides, specifically, the bbq beans and potato salad are excellent as is the “soul slaw!” If you crave good bbq, give them an opportunity, you will be back! Ps- the sweet tea is LIFE!
