Every time me and my family or friends come to this Dairy Queen the employee named frank is the absolute NICEST man I have ever met in the fast food industry. He always greets people with a smile and is very quick to help out customers, take peoples orders, bring them their food and make it. He’s sweet and kind and I have had bad interactions with the other employees but he keeps the atmosphere light and is always a mood lifter ! Definitely needs a promotion or something because if it weren’t for him we would probably stop coming here almost every weekend and weekday. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Really not sure why this place has bad reviews. Everytime we go the gentleman is super nice and double checks the order for us! Just fyi, that gentleman (older one with mask and gloves) IS NOT MANNY the owner, he may be the manager but not the owner that everyone assumes is. My only issue is that they could have a little bit better drive through speakers since it can be heard to hear especially so close to the road. Truthfully this is one of the few establishments that uses gloves which sanitation is very important to me, I don’t know why most establishments don’t practice that. Food: 5 Service: 5

Friendly staff. The food was bad . Hamburger meat was gray outside and pink in the middle. Chicken strips old and dry. The tea had a terrible smell. I hope they fix the problem before they make somone one sick! Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Every time I have visited the Deer Park Dairy Queen, I have been treated well, received good service and the food has been prepared to my requests. My visit last week…I forgot to ask for the ice cream cup for my 4 legged companion and the owner of DQ said “let me get your friend some ice cream”!!! I went thru the drive to order 2 shakes and 1 steak finger basket and 1 chicken strip basket. I paid , and they gave me the shakes and told me to pull around??? The shakes were in the process of melting when I got my food. I am from out of town , so by the time I got a few blocks away to my hotel , shakes were very watery, and the ff were almost cold . The gravy was hot, and my steak fingers were warm , but they were tasty. The gravy was good Texas cream gravy. The fries were just barely ok , it did not help they were NOT HOT , but truthfully, even hot , I think they were lacking and kinda greasy ( even for fast food) Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes Steak Fingers

Im an expecting mother with a DQ Blizzard craving but this franchised ruined the classic experience. The cashier was clueless & the other one was even worse. Obviously annoyed at life he was disrespectful. Don’t recommend STAY AWAY!! Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Not sure where my detailed review just went. It all of a sudden vanished. Interesting. Anyways, we will no longer be visiting this location. Unfortunately their great customer service no longer Trumps the concerns below... So I walk into dairy queen center st and immediately head to bathroom to wash my hands and there's zero, not even 1 drop of soap or antibacterial in the 2 wall mounts. So I walked out to register and ask 1 of the cashiers....Do you all have separate bathrooms than the customers and I was told No, why do I ask. I said because there's 2 big dispensers on the wall and BOTH are completely out (not even a spec coming out) and the cashier says OH yeah we don't have any soap today, maybe tomorrow (saying this with a straight honest face) So I asked, what do you all wash your hands with when working and cashier replied with....Only water right now. (Which I'm willing to bet that No soap = No water either....What's the point?!?) I've always had my concerns about this location, from the fountain drink machine in the guest lobby ALWAYS has a pesticide smell (oh and when I asked about that one time, I was told (with the same honesty) oh we just fumigated the lobby yesterday) Well...each time I have been in the lobby (only 3x) the lid to the ice portion of the fountain drink machine has not been on top. Which leads me to believe (and taste) their previous nights fumigation efforts. NOPE! NOT ANYMORE!! Noooo way!

Good experience! Food was excellent, was bagged up in short order! The employees enjoyed what they were cooking and interacting with the customers. Noticed an young family playing in a rec area set up for the kids having fun! The dining area was well kept, very clean! Recommend this diner. Ordered cheese burgers, tacos and their specialty Jalitos ranch burger. Was the best!

This place is amazingly clean and had friendly service. Our cashier who was a nice older man greeted us and was super welcoming. Will be back again! 10/10

Fast friendly service, good food, clean lobby clean playground, and clean restroom! I've been coming here for over 20 years. I've been bringing my granddaughters here for over 8 years now and they love the playground area. It's indoors and kept clean!!! The prices are very reasonable and the icecream is the BEST ever!!! I highly recommend this restaurant for everyone! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10
