Good pancakes in a cute village. We went here at an weekday afternoon, out of tourist season. Service was fast enough, although you could expect it faster for these simple meals when it’s very quiet. Fresh juice was ok, fresh but they used a bit watery oranges. The pancakes however, amazing! Nice soft type bake, and good portioned ingredient wise. A strange thing on the menu is that “hartig” only has meat. There’s also a cheese section with many cheese combo options for the vegetarian, or sweet options. We sat down, ordered, watched table after table come in AFTER US, order after us, receive their food, eat, pay and leave. We were repeatedly told, 'your order is coming soon'. We had ordered pancakes with apples and cinnamon sugar, NOTHING COMPLICATED!!!! After waiting 90 minutes, NINETY MINUTES, YES AN HOUR AND A HALF!!!!! we canceled our order and left. If I ever return to the Netherlands you can rest assured that I will not waste my precious time in your restaurant. And your staff didn't even have the dececeny to apologize for not serving us. If you're an American do NOT go here. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Friendly staff, nice terras at the market area of the vesting Heusden. Pancakes are good. Options for vegans, just ask the staff. Extreme amount of different pancakes. Good with kids and sweet lovers.

Delicious food, great menu with many creative options to choose from. Every time we visit Heusden with our boat, this dining experience is an integral part of our visit. Service is quick, we waited less then 5 minutes from seating down. Friendly staff and hospitable atmosphere. All in all, a great and worthy dining experience.

+100 points for the cat Great service Very cute place, in a beautiful location I didn't like the hot chocolate too much, single it tasted like Nesquick (instant hot chocolate) and I wouldn't have paid 3,50€ for that... Even if it had whipped cream on top. Also the coffee elegant quite up to expectations. In conclusion, if you want to drink something average but in a very beautiful place, go ahead!

Pleasant place with big selection of dishes! I stopped here when, walking in the picturesque square, I noticed other people plates! They have an English menu.
