We found this spot on a whim on our last visit to Astoria and had such a fantastic experience that we planned another trip just to stop in again - as much to see Jamie again as to try more of the food and drink options. You really can’t make a bad choice. We can’t wait for our next visit to check out their soon to open Izakaya upstairs!

I really enjoy tiki bars but two things in particular make this experience stand out. 1. The tiki mugs are so unique and fun and getting to hear the stories behind many of them was extra special 2. Jamie was an absolute delight of a host! His sense of humor and his willingness to chat and answer questions around drinks, mugs, food, Astoria or whatever else came to mind brought an extra level to the visit. I already can't wait to go back! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Jamie was the best!!! We had a such a fun and chill experience at Dead Man’s Isle. We’re visiting Astoria for the first time and Jamie gave us so many fun recommendations for what to do while we’re here. 💜 they also made us fun surprise mock tails tailored to what we like in a really unique mugs ☺️ love you guys!!
