Like I posted before the place was dreary. The place where I was seated seated wasn't enough light. I don't know if they were trying to keep their electric bill down but it was pretty gloomy. And Denny's. I don't wanna be in a dark. I like being n the light Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Darrien at calumet city was phenomenal, although we had a different server which was tiffany. Darrin had great communication with an earthy personality. He checked on us with quickness. Definitely will be visiting again thank you so much darrin and tiffany. Excellent service. I use a cane. When the cashier saw me approaching the door, he immediately came to open the door and held it open until I got in. He even escorted me to a table. He is to be commended for assisting me. Our waitress was very polite and efficient. She took excellent care of us. It was apparent that she loved her job. Customer satisfaction was under par as the dennys birthday reward was not valued substantially. No substitute was allowed for declining meat as my diet is primarily vegan. Dennys should consider offering coffee as complimentary as well for the birthday reward. On the upside, the hashbrowns were the BEST. Darrin at Calumet City was an amazing waiter. He was very attentive, informed us of the specials, and was very friendly. The food was great but the service was even better. Mr. Darrin at Calumet City, IL, is absolutely amazing. He's very nice and an absolute sweetheart. He lets you take your time ordering and enjoying your food, and he checks upon you, but he's not over barring. I will be asking for Mr. Darrin, every time I come back here.
