Came here with some work colleagues and the staff was attentive, even being short staffed. I ordered the grilled pork chops with turnip greens and cabbage. Everything was tasty, even the cabbage. Many of my colleagues ordered the burger, hamburger steak, or the smothered pork chop. No one was disappointed. Additionally we ordered the banana pudding and butter cream cake. Both were heavenly and good portions! Highly recommend, but watch out they close really early. Loved loved the food. The folk that work there are very nice. I can’t remember the guy with the shaved heads name but he was very engaging with a big smile. I saw their post on one of Longviews Facebook pages about them having Chitterlings on New Year’s Eve my wife wanted some to bring in New Year’s so I stopped there to buy some. We also got a 5pc catfish dinner w/two sides and beef tips and rice w/two sides. All was delicious. My wife has to watch her salt intake so it was good it wasn’t over salted. I added a little salt to mines. Even the cornbread was good.
