Nice local restaurant with wonderful service. The food was fresh and delicious. Not greasy or heavy after eating. Very nice portions, even my sister asking for crispy bacon came out perfect. We were there on Thanksgiving day 2023. The food wasn't the greatest. Some in our group had turkey others had ham. None of that group like theirs. One person had the prime rib and said it was good. Most of us were there two years ago and it was much better then. The service was ok but not the best. I doubt we will be going back. When I called to place an order, the woman who took my order, didn’t even know what was on the menu. I asked if they had a Cobb salad and she said OK. I assumed that meant they did. When she called me back, she told me that they don’t make a Cobb salad and asked what I was ordering. Just shotty customer service and definitely not friendly, like when I asked for a total I was told it would take a while and made it seem like I shouldn’t even have asked. I should have just cancelled the order when she called back because when I went to pickup the order it was handed out the window to the person before me. I was told to wait about 15 minutes and return and I would have fresh food. While waiting I saw the car that was before me in line go back and hand in the food they took that had to have been my order. When I went to pickup my order I was given a free slice of cake for the inconvenience. I wouldn’t have minded waiting again for FRESH food. However the soup was the only thing that was even warm. Not hot but just warm. The cake was good but the rest of the food definitely felt cold and couldn’t have been made fresh. I was excited to try this place but it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The cake was so good I would almost go back to give it another shot and get the cake but I’m not sure it’s worth it.
