we enjoyed our breakfast here. The service was fantastic, prompt, and friendly. We really enjoyed speaking with Mike our server. The food was good and not overpriced. very refreshing for a town that relies on tourism.
Breakfast on a Saturday. Scrambled eggs, French toast, western omelet, bacon, toast, sausage, home fries, and hollandaise sauce.
Everything was excellent, with the exception of the home fries and vegables in the omelet. Vegetables were not cooked (a little or not at all), and the home fries were not cooked enough. Marble rye toast was a bit dry as well.
French toast and bacon were great!! Would get again in a heartbeat!!
Service was also excellent.

The Egg and I had not failed to please us yet. A bit more expensive than what you would normally expect to pay for a breakfast but they provide a decent amount of food for the money. Our server,Ricky Ricardo was over to the table very quickly. He took our drink order and gave us time to view the menu. The corned beef hash is very good. It is not the canned potato with some corned beef variety. This stuff appears to be made from the real thing. Thirty five bucks for drinks and breakfast for 2 but we didn't go away hungry.

Lobster Egg Benedict
I recently dined at The Egg & I in Ogunquit, Maine, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what was to come.
First and foremost, let's talk about the food. The hash was simply out of this world – perfectly seasoned and cooked to crispy perfection. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and topped with just the right amount of syrup. Every bite was a heavenly delight for my taste buds. It's clear that the chefs here take immense pride in their craft, and it truly shows in every dish.
But what truly sets The Egg & I apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. our coffee cups stayed full through our dining experience.
Whether you're a local looking for your new breakfast spot or a tourist exploring Ogunquit, The Egg a
& I is an absolute gem that deserves a visit. The combination of phenomenal food and top-notch service easily earns it a well-deserved 5-star rating. I can't wait to return and savor more of their delicious offerings!

Blueberry Pancakes with Bacon and Blueberry Butter
We stopped here on our way home from a weekend wedding in Portland and I got the lobster Benny and I can honestly say it was the best eggs Benedict I have ever had! My husband loved his breakfast too. Our server was so friendly and fun as well. I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Maine!

Lobster Egg Benedict
My wife and I had breakfast here on a rainy Tuesday morning in mid August 2023. We arrived at 9:30 am and the place was jam packed due to the weather (on a nice sunny day most people would already be at the beach). Parking was tight but we lucked out with a spot near the door. We waited 30 minutes for a table, and another 30 minutes for breakfast. Pretty much what to expect on a rainy day.
Breakfast was wonderful. Custom omelettes, plus one of the best blueberry pancakes I've had. Service was very good despite the crowds. Our server Mike kept coming to the table with coffee refills.
This is cash only, no credit cards. They serve only breakfast and close at noon. No real atmosphere (as in any other breakfast place), but the food was wonderful. Will definitely return the next time we vacation in the area.

Great spot for breakfast. Coffee is great which is very important. I had the lobster Benny and it was great as well as home fries. Service was a little slow but nothing to complain about.

Brite and roomy breakfast place right in Ogunquit. Our waitress was amazing and very personable, food came out very fast and hot! Great iced coffee (way better than that DD place)
Go early, I'm sure this place fills up quick on the weekends!
