II just got a terrible experience in this restaurant. I ate a morning buffet and then my husband took his coffee cup outside to smoke. I went out and took my coffee cup also after I finished to go to toilet. But one of her staff went out and stop me to take the coffee cup. When she saw my husband was there, she stopped to ask me to take back the coffee cup . I went back to restaurant to ask her why she stopped me to take the coffee cup. She said that she thought me to take the cup to home. Oh. my god. Why I need to have their coffee cup?Is it the coffee cup made by golden?Why had she asked my husband?Is it I come from Asia?Honestly, my medicine in my bad is more expensive than their cup?
It is a terrible experience. I will never to take any food in this restaurant.

I visited the Egon Restaurant while visiting Molde and had a good experience. The breakfast was very nice, with important elements, quality items and very nice service. Enjoyed the friendliness and efficiency. Recommend 👍👍

Laid back and friendly chain of family restaurants. Prices are on par with other Norwegian restaurants but the portions are generous. It was extremely busy when we went due to the local annual jazz festival. While service was relatively fast those of us that paid for the pizza buffé frequently had to wait for it to be refilled.

Been here last year and rated it 2 stars, this year I was in Molde again and decided to give it another chance, it was a mistake.
The food is average at beat, the garlic bread was so dry it was hard to even eat it. And what's the worst for me the service is absolutely atrocious.
You will find better service at your average petrol station

Mixed feeling experience about this place.
I definitely would like to give all 5 stars for people who work there, as they were all attentive and friendly and helpful.
However my order and experience wasn’t that great. We ordered two pizzas and some drinks. The order was done electronically due to QR code. Drinks arrived pretty soon, but after 15-20min waiting, the waitress came down to tell me, that there is a problem with pizza dough. The pizza dough won’t set and therefore it will be about 20-30 mins wait. Restaurant offer some snack whilst waiting and we accept the offer. After another 20 minutes another waitress came over and said sorry, we can’t make those pizzas you have ordered as the problem with pizza dough is ongoing! We been offered free drink each the same what we had, and also we were asked to choose different type of pizzas. So we chose stone baked pizzas. When we got complimentary drinks as a little compensation for all the mess, one of the drinks they brought was different from what we originally had, it was literally a mistake in every step restaurant did that evening. At last, after 1 hour something we got our different type of pizzas, and they were so average, truly nothing special. For that money and that long wait.. The restaurant specialises in pizzas, and I could bake one better than that at home for sure. Pizza with chicken - I don’t recommend- very plain, nothing nice about it. Pizza with chilli - not too bad, but there is nothing wow about it.
So I would recommend to eat burgers over there instead! And please to speak to the staff at the beginning of your arrival to see if there is any problems in the kitchen in case you don’t have so much time as we did.
The interior and atmosphere is lovely, unique and cosy in here. It is nice place to go for any occasion, just please make sure your experience won’t be ruined with restaurant mistakes, speak to waitresses in advance.

Very cozy place good pizzas and we have a chance to taste the delicious “pastel de nata” a very tradicional food from our beloved home PORTUGAL . We will be back again
