I Loved Everything ♥ The food was Amazing! ❤ Food was Piping Hot 🔥 The Guacamole was Fresh and Yummy! ❤ The Queso was soo Flavorful! ❤ The Chicken in my Enchiladas was Mouthwatering you can tell it's Marinated not Bland at all! The Rice just as Tasty!❤ The Chips and Tortillas just Perfect Tortillas Light and fluffy 🔥 The Salsa Fresh ingredients as well ! ❤ Now let's talk about the Waiter Soo Polite Soo Attentive to our Wants and Needs Made sure we Always had Fresh Hot Chips and our Drinks were Filled ! ❤ He Gave Incredible Service ! One of my favorite spots to chill wit my Mommuh! We sit in the saaaame booth everytime...as luck would have it its always available. Food & daily specials are on point. Today (Thursday Jan 11th) special, I got 2 tacos, beans & rice w/ Tea for $8.49! Of course complimentary chips n' salsa....Its one of the FEW places you can still smoke inside (at the bar only). I noticed an upgrade in EVERYTHING lately, to find out they have undergone new management. Nice work Kudos! The food was delivered quickly. It was very tasty and satisfying. Margarita was good. Ate in restaurant on one occasion and ordered out on another. Did not like the amount of smoke that drifted into the restaurant from the bar. The only escape was to sit in the elevated dining area, but handicap access is nil as you have to climb a set of stairs to get to it. My elderly mom has real difficulty with stairs (uses walker). Food and service was great when we got settled though we chose take out on the next occasion. My wife and I live in the neighborhood and we come here often. I absolutely love their fajitas and always look forward to the chips and hot sauce! I can't recall his name, but we normally get the gentleman with a long beard who is absolutely fantastic! But I went in by myself the other day and had the pleasure of being served by Ollie! Let me tell you Ollie was an absolutely amazing server, they were very attentive to my needs and really made me feel welcome. Which was great because I don't usually go eat by myself and it kind of felt awkward. But having Ollie is my server alleviated any awkwardness I might have felt by being there by myself. Next time.qe go back I am asking for them! I can't wait for my wife to meet Ollie!! You scored a great employee El Chico, I certainly hope you remind them often! So co worker and myself stopped for a late lunch.I was pleasantly surprised inside,no wait given a holiday(9/4/23-Labor Day),seated,service was great!!! Blueberry margarita was delicious, food was very good,good portions,definitely would visit again and recommend!!!! Haven't been to an El Chico in probably 20 years!!! Didn't know they were still around to be honest 🤷‍♀️ They have really good queso and salsa for sure 😋 That has not changed at all. The food was just like how I remember it --- really, really yummy 😋 😃 The fried ice cream was different though. Don't ever remember having chocolate gnoche on top of it before 🤭 but, I ate it anyway, because, you know, it's ice cream & it's 110° here in Texas and cold anything tastes good right about now 🧊 Our server was very sweet and attentive. I forgot her name, but she had pink (?) hair I believe 💖 She was awesome! The restaurant was clean & well maintained. Always the best everything, the service and the food. My favorite place to dine. The drive is a ways but worth it. I hate that they closed the location that was closer to me.
