Hands down (as of my 1st and only visit so far, will update when i go again on consistency of the food and service) the BEST Mexican food in GBT. 1st things 1st the salsa, that is always the best way to tell a Mexican food place - PERFECTO. SOOO YUMM. It was not super spicy (wish it was, but you know other white people gotta eat there too). I wanted to sample a few different, basic items and I was not in any way disappointed. I ordered the guac (normal ol guac), a combo plate with the taco and a cheese enchilada, and quesabirria. ALL were equally delicious. Rice and beans were both really good, just slightly salty, can happen to the best. I took my order to go, so I am not sure about the service but the food 10000 times better than Lost Pepes and El Ranch-no. I truly hope this place stays tasty and is consistent in quality and taste. Chicken enchiladas were very good and filled the platter. Wife's beef nachos were so-so. The dipping sauce was excellent but the chips are too thick- tasted right of a bag. Had the sour cream enchiladas. My wife had the beef quesadillas. The food was ok, good for a hurry. The chicken enchiladas were ok, smothered in sour cream sauce and piping hot! The guacamole was really plain, not a lot of flavor. We will be back for a second try to see if it's better. I didn’t give a review on food cause I never got it. So I can’t speak on that. What I can speak on is our waitress was more worried about her food than waiting on us. What I saw. The staff hangs out where the customers aren’t. I just happen to be a manager of a restaurant. I always give the benefit of the doubt but I ended up leaving before I got my food. They need to let their waitresses know. They are there for the customer. The customers are not there for them. Service Dine in Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
