Great lunch and environment. I love that they don’t skimp on serving sizes like some other restaurants in the area do.. The salsa for the chips could use work. They seemed to be out of everything, waffles, sausage, biscuits and country sausage but we enjoyed what we did get. We were extremely grateful to find a place open on Independence Day. The service was great considering how busy the guy was, he was serving, taking care of the drive thru and running the register. Good job. This is my favorite Mexican food on the planet. Lol. I try to treat myself here a few times month for breakfast tacos or enchiladas. It's simple but it reminds me of my mom's cooking. I've gone in a few times before and the barbacoa was AMAZING! But this time, it tasted like boiled meat and about 1/3 of the entire portion was just fat. VERY dissapointed. I hope it'd better next time. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a gem in this small town . The food was amazing it's hard to find home cooking. I should know I'm a truck driver and I have been all over. The employee greets you with a smile and a great attitude. Very patient while I studied the menu and even gave me a sample so I knew if I wanted to order it. I did it was delicious. The beans actually had flavor , the carne guisada was soft, juicy, and had lots of flavor. The rice was cooked to perfection with again lots of flavor. The lettuce and tomato were crisp. The tortillas were fresh and homemade. The bean and cheese tacos had lots of filling. I am thoroughly impressed with tbis restaurant. They definitely IMPRESSED me. Was here in August 2022. My two breakfast tacos were outstanding. My wife's mexican plate was also very good. Service by Valeria was great. We will make this restaurant a regular stop when in Poteet.

The food is pretty decent and prices are fair. Had the trio plate which came with the tea for $9.50. Service was friendly and environment was quiet which I prefer. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I was quite impressed with the food presentation and taste. My uncle got a burger with fries and I got the enchilada plate. The tea had an aftertaste as if it’s been sitting for a while and not fresh. That’s ok though. What wasn’t ok was the waitress. Not sure if she was part owner or what, but she certainly had this lackadaisical attitude. We felt as if everything she did for us was a favor and she obligated. She dropped off our food fast and not once asked if we needed anything throughout the entire visit. For us, attitude is everything, this is why we won’t be going back.
