So we have tried El Tapatio on Willow Ave and today just tried El Tapatio on Jefferson avenue. Both have sucked. The first one was delivered and second pick up. The food is running together. This place is me & my husband favorite Mexican restaurant. We always get good service. Our favorite waiter is Alfredo he always has smile on his face. He always on top of filling our drinks and bringing fresh chips/salsa. Very friendly. Has our drinks and food down pat because we are there pretty regular. We really enjoy having Alfredo as waiter. Food is great. But don’t both calling in a to go order from the Jefferson location. They rarely if ever answer the phone. Sometimes it’s easier with young kids to eat at home rather than dine in but can’t do that when phones are not answered. I know we can’t be the only ones with this problem. Service: 1

Great service, delicious food, good price. The rice is light and fluffy, the flour tortillas are the right size and density, the veggies in my tacos were crisp and feesh, and the sweet tea is perfect. I’m from south Texas and this is what I’m used to. Will return again and again! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

The food and service are both great here. The staff are fast and attentive. Most restaurants have a bottle of generic hot sauce, they make their own fresh. It's pretty hot, but absolutely delicious, try it. Also their fried jalapenos are great.
