Met family here , I wasn’t super Hungry , but needed to Eat , I ordered a plate of French fry’s .sure didn’t get hardly any Fries !! I was not too thrilled , I would have got more at a fast food restaurant !! I order Food all over as y’all know , Fries are the one thing you always get a plate full of , Guess Not here , ! They were good , Glad I wasn’t really hungry !! My family got Breakfast and it was great ! Biscuits and gravy were not good. Gravy lacked flavor and was extremely poor. Too much pepper... Its like the cook did not know how to make real gravy and just threw in pepper to make up for it.. Bacon overcooked and burnt. Coffee lacked flavor and was weak. Egg whites on requested over medium eggs weren't cooked and were runny. Staff was friendly. Dining room overcrowded layout. Prices were extremely high for the poor quality of food. Add to that a 15-20 minute wait and the results are that this local couple will not be back. We've lived in Rapid City for 10 years and never heard of this place; now we know why. The only reason this is not a 1 star review is because of the staff. UPDATE: nearly two years after this first post. Still cant make gravy, the eggs were overcooked this time, and the service was still really good.
