On 10/13/23 I received very bad service. One of the cashiers named Lilly, yelled at my child just because we didn't know that to fill a gas tank you had to first pay at the cashier, and leave the empty tank outside and my boy and i entered with the empty tank to the store and she immediately yelled at my child in a very rude way, she told him " NO NO DON’T BRING THAT INSIDE THE STORE, GO OUTSIDE QUICKLY " but in a very ugly tone and my boy went outside, then she yelled at me she told me "DON’T YOU SEE YOU HAVE A LINE BEHIND YOU” then I apologize for that, I told her I was sorry but I didn’t realize there were some kids behind me, when it was my turn to pay, I told her that she could have talked to my boy and i in a nicer way, then she started again with her bad temper she told me that she didn't yell at anyone, that it's obvious that an empty gas tank can't be put inside the store, she made me feel stupid, then I told her well since it's my first time filling a gas tank I didn't know but you can also put a sign outside where it says that the gas tanks can't be put inside the store, and she was still with her bad temper, she kept telling me that it’s obvious. But like I told her, they have cámaras so i can’t lie, It bothers me that she wants to yell at people just because she is in a bad mood, then she didn’t even apologize for that, she was very rude. Then when we went home my boy began to cry he told me that he felt very bad because the woman yelled at him, and she embarrassed him infront of everyone at the store. I’m looking forward to talk to the manager, he was not there at the moment, but I’ll keep reaching out to him.
This location always keep their gas prices below most of monterey county gas stations, probably the cheapest in the county. The store is always clean and employeea are polite.
This place is always busy, usually people buying beer. Customer service is not good at all. All the workers are to busy talking to everyone who comes in cause apparently everyone is there friend. This place doesn't have a good selection of anything. The only thing i like is that it is 24hrs
