I went through the drive through today on my way home. The young man that took my order was very pleasant and courteous. I ordered the Garlic shrimp stuffed shells, side salad and a side order of bread sticks. OH MY GOSH!!! Everything was delicious, fresh and hot! I will definitely be returning 😋 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Whenever I’m traveling I love stoping at places where I know I can get good comfort food at a fair price. My stop today was above and beyond my typical stop and it was due to one person in particular. I met Demi when I placed my order and several times afterwards when she’d stop by to offer breadsticks (yummy!) or to check that everything was good. Demi, thanks to you everything was PERFECT!! I hope to see you again soon as my travels continue. Sorry about the photo being taken after I had started eating, it looked and smelled so good I just had to dive in! Just sat 16mins in drive threw, when I asked how much longer due to having to get to work, was told they were in shift change and I can go inside to order. Didn't have time for such due to going to work, drove off due to a 20min wait in drive threw. As driving past building 3-4 employees were sitting at a table. No other customers were in store and I had a person waiting behind me that probably waited longer. Terrible customers service, 2 people that spoke to me in that 20mins waiting could have taken the order in such time frame or whats the point of a drive threw. Terribly disappointed. While in Ankeny while shopping at SAMS, my wife Pam, and I were craving some pasta so decided to stop by Fazoli's for a couple of to go meals to take home for dinner. I ordered the bowl of spaghetti with extra marinara sauce, she ordered the ravioli with meat sauce. Both were very generous portions and both clear off the charts in deliciousness, the bag full of breadsticks couldn't have been better, tender and piping hot. The best experience of all was with the superb service we received from the manager Shane, pictured in the photo. Friendly, upbeat and helpful, he told us it will be a few of minutes for our order, gave us a small plate with some of those totally awesome bread sticks then told us he couldn't expect us to eat the breadsticks without something to drink, giving us two small drinks. The wait for our to go order was very short, and because of the breadsticks and drinks, was very pleasant. We hardly had finished eating the breadsticks before our order was brought to our table. We both were astonished and delighted by how we were treated, we felt very valued buy Shane, needless to say Pam and I are big Fazoli fans now. I strongly recommend this particular Fazoli location which is located in Ankeny. We for sure will be returning there for eats during our many future shopping trips to Ankeny. I know what good spaghetti and ravioli should taste like and what we had was the best, couldn't have been better. Drive through had a long line - I went in to order my family food. Fairly large order but only waited 5 minutes for it! It was well packed to go. A large amount of food! What a pleasant experience today at Fazoli's. They brought our food with a smile and the breadsticks for wonderful as usual. My daughter says the waitresses was shredded. Allen from Doing Des Moines here... First visit to this location, and first time in a Fazoli's since after the Covid-19 closures. The staff here is incredibly nice with proactive customer service. Not what I was expecting from a "fast food" place. At the register, Katie, was nice and might have even been smiling behind her face mask (so hard to tell these days). I got checked up on multiple times on the dining room, too. What’s up with that? It’s like they care about their customers here. I took advantage of the $6 lunch combo (lasagne, salad and a drink) with a $2 off in-all discount making this a real cheap lunch. I shall return.
