First visit, great ambiance and vibe. Upscale casual, fabulous calamari for appetizer. Had Seared Scallops for dinner and my husband had Pan Roasted Duck Breast. Both wonderful. Decent wine list . Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We went to Forge and Vine for the first time on Saturday night. We had to wait a little while which was expected and we were sat in a timely manner and met with a wonderful bartender with great service and the food and drinks were spectacular. The attention to the smallest detail is outstanding from the person who takes reservations to the waitress. We made reservations for an anniversary celebration and a quiet table. The gracious response was I have just the table for you and glad you chose to celebrate with us. The menu selection is unusual, the food presentation pleasing, delicious and the portions of adequate size. Don’t overlook dessert. A great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion! With views from your wildest dreams, located behind the Groton Inn. @groton Don't say I didn't warn ya about Forge and Vine @forgeandvine This date night spot locals know all too well, was our Supper Clubs next visit. Chef Sam is in charge of this open kitchen with a large menu, but he does it so well, crushing a well balanced menu. They have on-site parking that does get quite busy. We had reservations and got seated right away. Tastefully decor and a wonderful view of the surrounding area. The service was good but I found the prices were a little high for the quality and quantity of food. I found that a lot of the customer in the restaurant are too much into themselves. I’ve been hearing a lot about Forge and Vine for about a year now and at last made the trip out to give it a try, here is why you should too: 1. Even though we went on a foggy day it was beautiful. The atmosphere feels like modern farmhouse and the location reminds me of the Vermont green mountains. I get big Woodstock vibes from this place. There is an outdoor seating section that overlooks a vista as well. Definitely want to come back to eat outside. 2. Service is fantastic. We had a reservation but ended up missing our window, additionally when we were to arrive the restaurant would be taking their last tables. We called ahead and it was not a problem at all. We never felt rushed and the staff was very helpful, attentive, and kind. Very enjoyable. 3. Of course, now the food. It was fantastic! Not only is the food good but they time the food to come out in a way that allows you to move through the meal at a pace you enjoy. Also, they list allergy foods on the menu and can accommodate. What an amazing place!!!! We went for our anniversary. We got there around 20 minutes before our reservation and got a table in less than 5 minutes. The restaurant it's beautiful with defined areas, bar, two people tables, groups, outdoor, open concept kitchen and oyster bar. Our waitress was Kira (hope I'm spelling it right) she was super friendly, knowledgeable and polite. I forgot the name of the drink I wanted and she went above and beyond trying to help me remember. Ended up been her favorite drink. Food was out of this world amazing, super delicious, fresh and beautiful (important to me) They have a new menu from their new chef and it is perfection. Drinks were big and strong and yummy. They have a good amount of IPAs too. Along with our reservation, I requested a happy anniversary chocolate dessert to surprise my husband. I didn't say anything about it when we got there. At the end of our meal, while we enjoyed our last drinks, they brought a beautiful and delicious chocolate pie type dessert with the happy anniversary on the plate. Everyone that walked by congratulated us and the person that actually wrote on the plate came to make sure it was ok and that we were happy with it. My husband went to meet the new chef, he was super nice and approachable and took the time to talk to him about the new menu. I went outside while my husband talked to the chef and sat at the addirondak chairs to the side of the restaurant. No one minute after a waitress came to asked me if I needed anything. Service it's the best, they make you feel like they really appreciate you being there. It was one of the best meals we ever had, such a treat. I love that the menu has many options. Excellent food and great staff. Warm atmosphere and top notch service combined with a menu suited for all tastes and occasions, delicious food, and hand crafted cocktails served by friendly and professional staff!! Jess made our trip even better. Super friendly and welcoming! Very nice establishment with immaculate restrooms. Just an all around great experience. The food is spectacular, the drinks wonderful, fantastic service and ambiance. Definitely a top favorite now!! I took my wife out to dinner here for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised!! Excellent food and great staff. Very nice establishment with immaculate restrooms. Just an all around great experience. My wife and I shared a dozen of oysters that were very good. Her main course was the salmon and mine was the ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection.
