Easily the best place for napolitean style pizza and other italian backed delicacies and deserts in the region and propably top 3 in Slovenia. Make sure to make a reservation though, the dining area is small and intimate. Great selection of wine and rums is also available. Chef/Baker is highly knowledgable and passionate. Highly recommended. Update visit 2: pizzas are getting even better, food really is at the highest level. We ate Retro and Verdura, both were fantastic. Make sure you arrive and finish in the time slot you reserved, since this is a quite personalized experience and timing is important to the stuff to provide the best time to guests. Best pizza I have had in Slovenia! The owner and staff provide excellent service and information about the menu. It is obvious that a lot of thought and passion has gone into each dish served. Apart from the food, the place offers a cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit, even if the drive from your accommodation exceeds your tolerance for time spent behind the wheel. Good pizza is hard to come by outside of Italy, and when you do, it is definitely worth the drive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ended stopping here after exploring the surrounding Vipava area. By far the best pizza I've had in a while! Owner was very welcoming and sparked great conversation too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
