They have the bed tacos de tripa in town! Just order them crispy! Their salsa is really good and the food too. It is just like a neighborhood restaurant so nothing fancy. This place is always amazing! Everything I order is fresh, and the service is great. Always easy communication and I will always come back. I placed an order on door dash and one item was wrong. I called and they placed my name down and I was going to come back that weekend. I got into a car accident and couldn't come back for 4 weeks. I thought it was a long shot but they honored my comp burrito and a free soda! As a Miami girl that craves authentic cuisine I definitely recommend this place for a taste of home! I never take a picture because its too good to wait! 😂 The breakfast burritos are a must try, and the combination plates when I am wanting something different! The fresh juice is to die for. My family and I went last week to this quaint restaurant located in Aurora. What a great experience! We sat and immediately one waitress came to bring some chips and salsa and to ask what we wanted to drink. We were a party of five and I ordered a drink called Horchata (which is very typical from Mexico) and was delicious, and one of my daughters ordered a Mango drink that was really good. They have a very extensive menu and we ordered several different plates. They were brought to us in less than 10 minutes and all of them were succulent and with an AUTHENTIC MEXICAN flavor. I had gone to so many restaurants that claim to sell Mexican plates, only to come out disappointed because the flavor was completely different from the traditional plates. Not the case here. Everything was just perfect: The flavor, the serving size, the salsas, the desserts, the environment (extremely clean - including the restroom - very colorful and with Latin music in the background), not to mention the superb service! The waiters and waitresses were always attentive to see if we needed anything (without overwhelming you coming every 5 minutes to interrupt your conversation like in many restaurants!). The prices are around $25-30 dollars per person (we always drink coffee and dessert at the end!) Overall, our experience was exceptional. My family and I have been coming here for years as we live close and LOVE Mexican food. However, the past couple visits we've made weren't so good. Not sure if they got a new cook? Anyways I got myself a Smothered burrito last night. The chili was so bland I had to add hot sauce. And there were so many beans it didn't even look like there was steak on it. There were no toppings, just cheese and green chili. It makes me sad because I love supporting small businesses and this place hasn't done me wrong until now. I ordered the burrito supreme with steak and an horchata. My son got a kids meal with quesadilla and rice and beans. The salsa that came out with chips was more traditional style salsa rather than restaurant style, but tasted great so no complaints. They refilled my chips for free without being asked which was nice. The horchata was good, but cost 6 dollars. The burrito was good, but not great. The presentation of the food was unappealing and made it look cheap. Overall it seems like they used cheaper ingredients for the food. My son’s rice was bland. Overall I would probably not come back due to the okay quality food and expensive prices. For what you are getting they should be charging less, but I guess that’s everywhere these days. It was almost 40 dollars after tip for feeding one adult and a child. Bonus points for actually having a kids menu and high chairs for small kiddos. Stopped in for steak breakfast burritos from a client recommendation and have zero regrets. Super fast through the drive thru and yet still could tell it was freshly made. Did I think $9.50 for a burrito was steep? Yeah I initially did but really it's the size of 2 from any of the area competitors so there's that and it was really freaking good. Lots of steak inside as well as real potatoes (not french fries) eggs, cheese and green chili. Also comes with 2 different side salsas. I'm calling this one a WIN Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the carbon skillet burrito. Omgoodness so good. If you don't eat pork minus the green chile. The steak was tender, eggs were fluffy and the veggies were just right. I'll definitely be back. This place has been a lot of things over the years. I hope this restaurant makes it long term. Don't miss the opportunity to have some great Mexican food. Until next time.
