Love the location and atmosphere inside! It's so fun and bright. We sat next to the wall with garage doors and had a beautiful view of the scenery outside. The food was great too! I'm really torn on this restaurant. On one hand, ths atmosphere is amazing and the service is top notch. The burgers are great. I couldn't bring myself to try Sushi so far away from the ocean. The ribs, although inexpensive at $20, were not trimmed properly and were clearly cooked too fast. They were a chore to eat. I think this place could do for a reduction in menu items. There's no way one place makes 40+ dishes well. I will return, if for no other reason than burgers, beer and cars. I am Very middle man on this restaurant. Messy - ok food - slow The sushi- fresh and well made The burgers- strong flavors great presentation. We came in an hour before rush to see the difference and the service was incredibly slow. It’s almost like the servers were also working the kitchen. It took 45 minutes to get our food and another 15 to try and send the check. The burgers are good and really large, the onion rings too it’s a lot of food. I got the passenger Princess drink it’s $7 for pink grenadine in sprite with uncrushed mint so not very impressive for a specialty drink. I got the tiger roll sushi and the salmon was really good but the mango was lacking. The cars are cool but the theme is more novelty so if you’re wanting to look around then leave that’s just as good as a car meet and you wouldn’t spend $60. My biggest issue is how dirty the seats/floors were. I sat down at a dirty table but at the time there were only 6 tables filled- and staff nowhere to be found. In general this would be classified as simply “good” as there is nothing truly exemplary in any form here. But The staff are super nice and will never leave questions unanswered. Seriously disappointed by the food here, and how much it cost - the quality doesn't match the price at all. The brisket in our nachos was 100% fat, so we ended up picking it off, which defeats the entire purpose of the nachos. The brisket Mac and Cheese was fine, but nothing exceptional, with the soggy bacon making it less appetizing than it could have been. The very worst was the sushi. Bad sushi uses excessive sauce to mask the mushy fish flavor, and baby was this fish mushy and over-sauced. I even got an entire lime rind in one piece, which was a terrible, bitter surprise. I'm so bummed, because everyone seems to love this place. I won't be going back - I paid $100+ for a terrible meal. Don't make my mistake. Garage Grill is a seriously cool vibe. They've gone above and beyond to make it unique. The service was generally excellent and the food came out quickly especially for a group of 7. Food was creative, but tasted average. Flavors were generally tame and lacking. I tried the spinach dip, tempura shishito peppers, and sushi nachos w/ mango. All of the dishes tried needed more flavor, more salt, and more spice. People in my party all generally enjoyed their meal though. Went with my bf for his birthday in the afternoon to avoid traffic and it was worth it! This place has a cool vibe and I loved that all the cars had signs so we could read about what races they’d been in and where they were from. My bf was totally freaking out that Paul Walkers car was there and he loved the food! I had some sushi and wasn’t that impressed, could’ve gotten the same thing at smiths for less money but the server was sweet and attentive. Drinks were good I tried the sex on the flats and that was a bit strong but we love that in Utah haha. Onion rings were great too! We love Garage Grill. Our food is always delicious, and if something is even slightly wrong, they do everything they can't to fix it. The kids love it here. My favorite is the BLT with over easy egg, but I have yet to meet a sandwich that isn't yummy. Also some of the best tots and restaurant ranch around. Wonderful servers to boot! Racecar themed restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices. Very (over?) attentive server. Met up with friends we hadn't seen for years and it was nice to be able to have a conversation without being drowned out by the background music - which was decent music. Would dine here again. This place was great. Really cool theme and the food was good. We got the brisket sandwich and the sushi nachos. The sandwich was okay, the tots were good, and the sushi nachos were SO good.
