The few horror stories you'll read are from people who came expecting a Michelin-starred experience or were already in a bad mood right when they walked in. Yeah, nope. This is a no frills, God's honest local hot dog, hamburger, and seafood joint that's been operating for almost 70 years with an attached ice cream parlor. As for the prices, what did these people leaving bad reviews expect? Inflation is bad all over. Everyone's paying more for everything and that's not going to change, get used to it. Also, your bad mood? That's a "you" problem. Employees are more than just slaves. Demean them and you can expect your own behavior returned in kind. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely fantastic, exactly what I was looking for and so much better than the fast food chains. Kept it simple with a burger and chili dog and was blown away. Everything was cooked exactly as I asked for and exactly how I like it. The hot dogs are fantastic (I believe they’re hummels) and their spicy relish has good flavor and a nice kick to it. On the other hand, the chili on the chili cheese dog is very dry and bland so I probably wouldn’t get that again and just go with two regular dogs. Honestly, the only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 was the price (and the chili). It cost a little over $20 for 2 hot dogs, fries and a drink. Can't beat their staple menu items- whole belly clams, lobster rolls, hamburgers, hotdogs, ff and onion rings!!! Friendly staff, clean, tasty food 9/23 Whole belly clams!! Delicious. Friends invited me to go with them for hotdogs. I'm not a big hotdog fan in general, but the dog with grilled onions won't disappoint! I don't know how they did it but the onions were perfection. Definitely give it a try!

Great softshell crab sandwich! Perfectly crispy. Really friendly place. Grilled chicken sandwich, fries, and onion rings were all good too.
