I can't recall ever dining at a Golden Corral before, but after spotting them on the GotYou app, I decided to give them a try. To my surprise, the experience was quite delightful. The food was consistently fresh and warm, boasting a selection that surpasses many Las Vegas-style buffets I've visited. While Utah is quite a distance from Las Vegas, the comparison seems apt. Interestingly, they offer to-go boxes. I guess they charge by the pound. The cost for dine in was only $16, roughly equivalent to a three-piece chicken meal at the nearby El Pollo Loco, and slightly less expensive than a Big Mac meal delivered via DoorDash. The staff was exceptionally welcoming. Roberto was over our section and was super friendly and helpful. If you find yourself in the Provo Orem area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Great selection for most any kind of diet and very fair price for the quality. Their senior discount extends to 60 year olds—nice! Very clean environment. I liked that they offered disposable sanitary gloves when serving yourself (but I was the only one that seemed to use them). New, well-kept facility, plenty of seating for busy periods, and friendly staff and atmosphere. Chicken dishes were on the dry side. I’ll be back. There isn't much to say about Golden Corral other than. They had some pretty good dishes and food. The only desserts I enjoyed were the brownies and the ice cream. The others were kind of underwhelming for me. Our server seemed to be ignoring us for the first part of us being there. There were 6 of us. And yes, it was pretty busy, but all we wanted were refills on our drinks, and he would go to the other tables around us, but not ours. He also kept forgetting what we had and brought 2 people in our group the wrong drinks. I can only rate the diffrences from before their remodel to now. I went with my wife and 2 of my grandsons for lunch. The place was busy. There was a good selection of foods, but the quality seemed a bit lacking. Both the wife and I like the Cajun white fish. We both got some, but as we ate it, we both commented that the texture. It was off. It was almost slimy. Our waitress worked very hard to make things comfortable, and kept our drinks filled. As to recommending this place. I would be hesitant. This Corral has me mixed a little. We have experienced great food and good cleanliness, which is a huge plus. The restaurant is newer and in great shape. Plenty of room and nice staff. The only issue we have ran into here, and only at this location with 2 separate servers. We would go back to gather some more food and our table is not only cleaned off but twice was re-sat with a new family. Nothing that can't be fixed but a bit irritating when you are having a good time eating only to come back to an empty place to sit. They really need to have a flag system like at other restaurants that you can raise if you are away from the table getting more food or put the flag down if you are done for the night and have left. This is good. If you're looking for gourmet food this isn't the place. It's really just hard to make everything good when you have so many dishes and such a low price. Excellent preparations and fresh choices are readily available for each of three choices every day: breakfast, 11am lunch and 4pm dinner. The price is average with other buffet competition of their class... The service is also equal; but, it is their food that makes them a fantastic choice for an individual, family, or large parties (call ahead for large parties). Lots of eating space generally allows for short (if any) waits. Me and a friend came to eat for dinner . We got a steak which was not cooked, and was pink inside and looked rubbery . We spoke to a manager, he told us to bring the steak so he could recook it . Very disappointed in them, and unprofessional of him. They just lost a loyal customer.
